Very easy to setup. Start engraving in minutes.
The media could not be loaded. Very straightforward, right out of the box. Ready to engrave in minutes. A few screws to mount the laser to the base, connect some USB cables for powering the base and roller attachment. Power on and you’re ready to go. Download their app, connects to the laser via Bluetooth. Import any photo from your photo library or choose from their samples. Or you can use the built in app tools to write text, make QR codes or barcodes. Like a quick label maker. If you want more detailed, or multi layered engravings you can download their desktop app too. If you use the desktop app, make sure to disconnect your phones Bluetooth connection to the laser. I was struggling with getting the PC desktop app to work but it was because my phone was still connected to the laser. In the PC app, to import files, just drag the file into the app. There doesn’t seem to be an import photo button anywhere, but you can drag vector files or images, and it includes a trace function that works really well too. Easy to focus using the laser points manually with the buttons on the machine, or in the app while previewing the boundaries. You could use the ruler too but I feel it’s more precise with the two laser dots for focusing. It will project two red dots and you adjust the laser up or down until the dots meet. In the app, you can preview the work area and it will show a red box where the boundaries of your artwork so you can easily position your item exactly where you want. In the app you can drag your logo around the screen to move the red laser boundary while you’re doing the preview. If you are using the roller attachment, and your cup or bottle is too close to the lens to focus, you can just rotate the laser 45 degrees and move your object farther from the lens to focus, so you can pretty much engrave any size cylinder just by aiming the laser in a different direction. I’m able to cut cardboard which is fun to make stencils. There are some helpful guide videos in the community section of the app if you need help setting anything up, but it’s very user friendly and pretty straight forward. I was engraving within minutes of setup.

good machine for the price
I'm very happy with this machine. I just bought it and had only 2 days to get it operational for a vendor event on Saturday November 2nd. I did not have access to AC power, so i had bought a battery previously to keep my laptop running. I ran the laser on that battery, and it worked fine this way and did not drain the battery. At the end of the 6-hour event, the battery still had a 6% charge. I ran it nearly continuously for about 4 hours making custom business cards that had personal images that the customer emailed me. I made about 40% of my earnings from the laser! i can't wait for my next event. The only negative thing i can say is that it doesn't seem to like colored aluminum business cards. the black works great for me.

Will not support any cup bigger than 2 inches
Will not support any cup bigger than 2 inches in circumference , the picture shows a normal size drinking stainless cup . Deceiving picture because it will only actually accommodate what seems to be a shot glass or something around that size . Good product but not for normal size cups .

Great little machine for the money
I have really enjoyed playing with this machine and adding products to my mobile store. Excited about the portability to be able to do immediate projects for customers. The software has some quirks compared to other design programs but I imagine it will get better. You cannot work on another project while engraving one which is a bit frustrating but you can import from other programs so that helps. Looking to purchase another one (LP5) down the road.
