Ingenious
I have this on my compressor (the head has Schrader threaded fitting, which screws into an air gun nozzle), which I use to seat tubeless tires and it works with zero issues. It's actually brilliant: no levers or threads to screw onto, grabs onto the valve stem as advertised, simple push/pull operation. It seals just fine over 70 psi I use to seat road tires. Initially I was also using it with my regular tire inflator, but replaced it there with the same design but better look and finish head from the pretentious bike accessory company I should not mention here. It worked just as well but was a little bit too big. My inflator has constant airflow and a cut off pressure setting though, this design might not be that good for manual pumps with analog manometers.

Works as intended...if you use it as intended...
So, there are a lot of "misinformed" reviews here. Part of it is the lack of info on the product page & the PrestaCycle website. But some is just a misunderstanding of what this adapter is for. This is a Presta valve adapter. It is not intended for a Shrader valve (found on cars and many bikes). The Presta valve is found on many road bikes and others with thinner and/or high pressure tires. The Schrader valve is the one with a pin in the center that you depress to fill or let air out. The Presta valve you have to unscrew to fill or let air out, but the pump head does not press a pin or anything to fill the tire. The threads on the adapter are the same as most bike pumps with Schrader valves, so you can put this on a Schrader pump head and use it on a Presta valve. Since it is a "press-fit" device there is probably a limit as to how much air you can get into a Presta valve tire without it popping off. Ok for low pressure bike tires, but not the best solution for high pressure road bike tires. Best way to use this, is to use it with a compressor or air tank, and put it on a trigger as shown in the picture. The trigger generally comes with a short threaded tube piece that this adapter will screw into. They can be had here or your local hardware store, make sure it has the small threaded tube piece. https://www.amazon.com/WYNNsky-Fittings-Compressor-Connect-20-Piece/dp/B06W9DSRYP/ref=sr_1_48?dchild=1&keywords=hand+trigger+for+air+compressor&qid=1601560538&sr=8-48 This setup is great for tubeless tires to set the bead. With a compressor you can set pressure limit regulator so you don't burst the tire. With a tank you are limited to how much air & pressure the tank will hold. The triggers also typically have a 90 psi rating, so that is a factor too. I use this exclusively to set beads on my tubeless bike tires. Final inflation I use a proper Presta valve pump. Too much chance of overinflating a tire with a high psi compressor. I guess the small electric inflators would be ok, but they would not work for setting beads on tubeless tires. So...that's probably the definition of TMI, but I was bored today and thought there were too many incorrect reviews for this for this otherwise good product...:)

Doesn't last long
Seal damaged after a few uses. Doesn't hold air now. Would not buy again

Allows use of regular manual pump with a second person to help.
The adapter allows a regular manual tire pump to connect to the Presta valve. My first attempts have been difficult. The adapter fits in the tire pump but, after loosening the valve in the tire, the adapter does not easily press the valve down to allow air into the tire. Eventually it worked but I needed to ask another person to pump the air while I held the adapter in place. Other that that, it worked, filled the tire, is well make and appears durable.

THE POSITIVE IS IT WORKS WITH SEVERAL RESERVATIONS RE: REVIEW AFTER USE. APRIL 21, 2023
I set it up for use with my two road bikes like several others did using my inexpensive on hand compressor parts as shown in my pictures. The positive is it does work. The negatives are: 1) first negative is it will immediately let air out of your tire before you can get the presta valve spring head completely inserted past the small urethane ring inside that is meant to form the seal to hold air from escaping. 2) the second negative is the urethane seal looks like it may not last too long with use. It's very thin. If that fails the whole part becomes useless. At the least Prestacycle should have included one spare. Instead they will sell you a new one for $5.00 + shipping. So obviously they know this part will fail at some point. 3) third negative is I'm not sure about using aluminum for this tool instead of brass. IMO it feels cheap and not what you would expect from a quality part attached to a compressor that gets tossed around a garage. I'm not sure why with such a small part that is used in conjunction with much heavier parts weight was so much of a consideration. It looks to me like a choice to save manufacturing cost. RE: I am adding to my initial review after maybe a dozen uses. As you can see from photos #6-#9 how useless this becomes after maybe a dozen uses. I can no longer use the product at all because it lets out more air than it allows into the valve. This is a design that is doomed to fail. It was a monumental waste of money. No response from the seller on how to fix the problem other than buying more inserts at an exorbitant price. I would never buy this product again.

Works perfectly.
Works perfectly. I "clicked" it onto my Ridgid handheld battery tire pump (set up for Schraeder) and used it for my tubeless Presta bike tires - worked exactly as hoped. Plus it weighs almost nothing - if I were on a long distance ride I would definitely throw this in my pack so I could get easy air at any gas station that had regular Schraeder fittings. You never know when you may lose your pump, have it stolen, or have it fail on you and it's essential to have options. If you have Presta this is great and is a real problem solver.
