Great to travel with
Have NEVER written a review and trust me, I’m a frequent flyer on the Amazon order page (just ask my husband) however this fan merits one as it is everything, and then some.Bought it because I’m at a certain age in which my body now has its own furnace in which I have no control over. Wanted something for when I needed a quick cool down and this is perfect. However, it has also filled the need in so many ways I didn’t think of. Right after I got it, our AC in the house was not working correctly, I work from home, so I sat it on my desk. (love the ability to bend it) aimed it at me and it kept me cool all day. For a small, portable fan, the air flow is really impressive. The reason for the review though is this - I usually travel with a small Vornado fan because I get so hot; literally keep one in my suitcase at all times which unfortunately takes up a decent amount of space. I had to travel recently with only a backpack and couldn’t take my regular fan with me so I popped this in there At night, I propped it the nightstand and it was amazing. It lasted about six hours on its own before I plugged it into the USB to maintain power. Worked just as well as my Vornado, except it’s much smaller and a lot more portable . Game changer! Will definitely be bringing this from now on.

2+ years and still going strong
TL;DR this is the most useful and most commonly used thing I've bought from Amazon - super worth the price. 10/10 do recommend!Longevity and battery life:I purchased the smaller 2 speed first, while slightly bigger it really doesn't take up too much more room and the extra battery is Super worth it. I probably use it as a portable battery more than as a fan, but I still use it as a fan on a Very regular basis - it will run for Hours and can really be the difference between being miserably hot and being comfortable. It survives being jumbled and banged around in my bag no problem. My only complaint is that occasionally all the jostling will turn on the flashlight, but so far the flashlight is bright enough I tend to notice it through the fabric of my purse. There have been occasions I've discovered the flashlight on and no idea how long it's been on, but I have yet to have that drain my battery, and it's pretty darn uncommon - especially given the tight spaces and other purse flotsam it's had to contend with on a daily basis.Getting hair caught:tldr - uncommon but if it does happen it will stop & the fan head comes off to make untangling soooo much easier and not a huge deal.I have long hair, and I'm a classically clumsy blonde with somewhat poor spacial awareness and depth perception. I'm surprised it took me so long, but finally after all these years it did happen -- I caught my hair in it. It turns out you can just pull the front fan blade right off (I had no idea!). It turned off pretty quickly just like it does if you touch the blade with your finger, and pulling off the blade made de tangling myself not terribly difficult or time consuming - I only lost about as much hair as I would brushing my bed-head hair in the morning. It was still a little tangled, but the whole incident - untangling and all was maybe 2 minutes, and at least half of that was because we didn't realize the fan head comes off until about a minute or so in. I've been using it over a month since and the fan head doesn't seem to be loose or any different from before the incident, it very much appears to be designed to be able to do this.Cleaning:I got the light pink model. Anything in my purse tends to get a little bit dirty over enough time. But, Toothpaste is a wonderful cleaner for small plastics like this! Just get your finger a little wet and use a small amount of toothpaste and scrub - the toothpaste is abrasive and will scrub off the very top layer of dirt just like it does for your teeth. Just be careful to only use the smallest amount of water, just to keep your finger from being dry - I suspect the fan Not waterproof & I don't want to test that either! Use more toothpaste as needed.Because it is abrasive, either avoid the painted on little bear face, or be aware you may scuff or scrub it off with this method.Overall:Other than my phone, keys, and wallet, there are only 2 other things I always take with me:1 - a mini mint tin with some 'emergency' pills (ibuprofen, Benadryl, Imodium)2 - a portable battery + cable to charge my phone (I play Pokemon Go which eats your battery life like popcorn)The fact this fills that need And it's a fan (I live in the desert southwest where it gets HOT) And it's a flashlight makes this a don't leave home without it for me.Great gift too!My favorite gifts to give are useful ones. I got one for my husband after seeing him in awe over mine, he has the smaller 2 speed from before they made this bigger one (and it fits in his pocket easier) and he brings it with for any situation we may be outdoors - even if we may just be stuck in a line. I also gifted my original 2 speed (from before they made this bigger one) to a friend and she loves it for concerts and festivals. Those two are at least 3 years old now and also still going strong!

3 speeds really help
Very capable fan. The three speeds are well balanced. Flashlight is bright. Like the configuration to allow the unit to stand hands free. But it is very hard prying the case cover to access the battery. haven't succeeded yet and fear i may scratch the surface using a screwdriver. So will wait until the battery is almost out. Gonna try this out in the Florida heat later this summer.

Personal Fan Review
Am posting this review covering three personal portable lithium battery fans. The first two fans were sent to me free by Amazon for an honest review. The third was purchased for an international trip earlier this year. In the photo, have obscured private information. All said, my thoughts in summary:1) For a discrete, quiet HAND-HELD (& tabletop) fan with multiple functions (fan, flashlight, & modest power bank) would recommend the Jisulife fan (JISULIFE Handheld Fan with 4500 mAh Powerbank). Very quiet on speeds 1 & 2. Feel this fan would be quiet enough for your sleeping partner if the you required night-time fan use. I’d use this fan mid-flight so as not to annoy other passengers with excess noise.2) For WAIST-MOUNTED (& neck & tabletop) with curved shape and fairly quiet on speeds 1 & 2, would recommend the Sheginel fan (Portable Waist Fan - 11000RPM Strong Airflow with 5 Speeds). A bit noisy on speeds 3-5. The charging port is open on the side, so would need protection if it rains. Might be a bit noisy for sleep partner if a light sleeper. Good daytime use. I plan to use this fan mounted on my backpack strap at shoulder height facing my neck & face when I am on my upcoming Amazon River trip (daytime use probably on speeds 1 & 2 so I don’t completely annoy my team-mates).3) For a WAIST-MOUNTED (& neck & tabletop) with a bit greater airflow (subjective) when not worrying about noise, would recommend SoCool fan (Socool Portable Waist Fan Clip on Wearable Belt 5000mAh Rechargeable). Charging post covered so a bit safer if a light rain. I see myself using this on high when doing yard work in the South U.S. during hot/humid summer months. When you’re that hot, who cares about noise?!

Life saver
Ordered these at the suggestion of a friend who bought them for a trip to Italy last year. She said it was extremely hot and the fan was a life saver. I am going this July so I want to be prepared if it is hot.

Works Great!!!
This little fan is really cute and can put out quite a bit of air flow!! The package was nicely packaged and arrived on time. I got it to use at church since it is so hot in there. They have little paddle fans on each of the pews, but this little fan is less distracting to others and it puts out wonderful air flow!! I am so glad I found this fan! Thank you!
