Talon Snappit Radiator Pipe Covers & Collars 200mm Chrome ACSNC/K2

Effective way to smarten up radiator pipes. Just be aware that if your pipes are close to your skirting boards, you won't be able to fit the collars to hide the hole into the floor.

I bought this product in Feb 22 after replacing a heated towel rail. The original pipes were copper, about 15 cm from floor to rail and covered with a similar product of white plastic which had discoloured and gone brittle over the years. The pipes came up through bigger holes in the floor.The new covers go about three-quarters of the way around the pipes and are a very snug fit; the ground plate fits around the cover, and it's a snug fit. I cut the cover down to 17 cm, which meant the rough edge was below floor level and wouldn't be seen, but if I had had to stop at floor level the ground plate would have hidden and rough or uneven edges. (I used a junior hacksaw to saw the excess off.)The clip-on covers are a tight fit, but fairly easy to put on if you start at one end and just push. If you need to slide the cover up or down it is quite stiff, but that means they stay in place when you get them right.The final finish looks great.Where they won't work so well: if you have any connector pieces in the pipe the cover is too tight fitting to go over them. It's only going to work for a single straigh piece.Having said that, I will be buying a single long length of the same cover to cut into lengths to hide some copper pipe which 4 right-angle joints in it as the joints won't be particularly visible when the rest of pipe is covered.

After recently having bathroom done up and new towel radiator fitted I searched for these and despite other reviews the collars clipped over the bottom no bother. Pipes were quite tough to cut through but would be easy with a saw I used a knife lol. Had them on since the day I got them and still look as good

Look great on radiator pipes once fitted, but found them a little hard to cut. Overall though very happy with purchase.

Every single cover had been rubbing in it's original packaging, so there was visible white flecks showing through, because it's just a chrome film on white plastic. It doesn't take much for them to scuff.It's a good concept if the finish was higher quality. Personally wouldn't buy something like this again without being instore where you have the chance to inspect the goods.

I had one copper pipe exposed in my bathroom and I wanted to make it match the rest of the room which has chrome pipes without having to cut in to the floor so these looked like a reasonable solution. They feel high quality and are very easy to fit. They just clip on. Also very easy to cut, took just 30 seconds or so with a junior hacksaw. If you look up close you can see they are a bit thicker than your standard 15mm pipe but that's to be expected though these are a little thicker than most of the others I've seen. I think that just goes to add to the quality. After several months these still look as good as new and im much happier with the bathroom.
