The weights are the right size to wrap around the upright tube and sit atop the bottom support legs. The simple Velcro closure is quick and easy - and the weights can be thrown in our mic stand carry bag along with the mic stands. The weights actually look very professional. We’ve got four On-Stage folding microphone stands on stage - and all four have tablet computers on side-mounts, so the extra stabilization is critical.

I walk 2.5 miles every day with the 2 kg each ankle weight. What’s best for me is there comfort. Just rotate the weight so lettering is at the front. It would be a help to have 3/4 inches of length if possible UPDATE, after 1 year the weights that I bought started to wear through due to abrasion with my shoe. I was leaking iron dust through out the house. Ordered the SAME weights, new and IMPROVED, showing multiple layers. Importantly they are a LOT easier to put on,, FiNGERS crossed on the quality, but the fit is certainly better (by fit I mean the wrap over to velcro is more solid..

Comfortable, well made, great for leg work out, velcro holds tightly. I wear mine all day while working around house, and outside for walks.

The weights are soft and comfortable and they don't restrict my movements during workouts. They are easy to use and they don't cause significant skin irritations. I wish they were heavier since they are too light for me. I ordered 1kg each weight but got 0.5kg per weight.

I bought this item as it advertised it fits both male and female. Well, unless you are a real tiny American male this item will barely fit your ankles.
