Safe Way Traction 16" X 40" White Adhesive Vinyl Anti Slip Non Skid Safety Bath Mat with Drain Cut Out

I stumbled on to this when I was searching for an anti slip product for my bathtub. I have been using a matt but we were expecting company and I didn't want to bother them to deal with the matt. Plus I didn't want the matt to catch alot of hair as I already have something like that at the drain, so was looking for something that looks good and functional. When I saw this and read the reviews, I thought, why not? Boy, I am glad I purchased it!What I love about this:1. the size: easily fits my tub from one end to the drain. It's perfect!2. the anti slip grip is subtle but works well. It's not highly bumpy, just has tiny, tiny grains of bumps, almost like dull sandpaper like3. sticks well! It's been almost 2 months since I installed it and the edges aren't curling or peeling off. And this is from DAILY showering in that tub. I am quite impressed by the quality.4. very thin but very functional, not heavy or thick like the rubber matts.5. it's forgiving enough when you install it and make mistakes. Meaning if it's not straight or if you have bubbles, you can peel it right away and fix that. BUT you really need to have 2 people working on this to help straighten out the bubbles.One thing though to know is, the item is delivered flimsily. Meaning it is just a thin roll of paper, folded, but don't worry, it will not keep that shape when you install it. Just unroll/unfold it for a day or two, have something heavy on it to help straighten it out. Once you peel the backing, folding parts will not be visible.I honestly am very impressed and so very pleased with the product! It looks great, not cheap and works great!

Purchased this item for my parents with a walk-in shower.Instructions are straight forward and easy to fallow. The non-slip surface feels good both dry and wet once the adhesive is given 24 hours to settle onto the floor.Totally worth it.

I purchased this adhesive vinyl mat in nov 2023 it is now april 2025 and the mat has been awesome the whole time, still well adhered to the tub and providing good traction. not as grippy as some other options but it is effective

Better than a bath mat. Great value, easy to install, white in color no yellowing, easy to clean. We've had it now for a few weeks it has good traction and adhesion is strong. There were no instructions in the box however there is a reviewer who gave great installation advice and we followed that!

I wish I would have found this sooner.Perfect for covering the bottom of the bathtub, great for bathtime for my daughter, aesthetically pleasing, and it has NOT lifted whatsoever after 6 months of continuous showers and bath tub time.I've been getting those bath mats with suction etc.. tried multiple..I don't like the stains on the bottom of my tub, and I wanted something nonslip on the bottom...but all those mats cause mold growth underneath and I don't want to add another chore to my list.THIS has truly made my life better, and I 1000% recommend. Take your time putting it down, because when it sticks, IT STICKS.. you can get air bubbles out with safety pin or a needle and press out... but just do it best you can the first time, don't leave it as a rush job and I promise you, no regrets on this.

Easy to install and I feel a lot safer in the shower. No more sliding in the shower. It has also made it eaiser to wash my dog in tub because she doesn't slip in tub. Her nails don't tear it either.

I bought this because I was tired of dealing with the rubber bathmat with the suction cups on the bottom. I noticed this is the type of non-slip surface they use in motels and looked up whether the general public could buy them.I have not yet installed this mat but, the surface definitely will be non-slip. It is also wider and longer than our old rubber mat with the suction cups.It does have some "bends" in the material that make me wonder how hard it will be to get it to lay flat when applying it to the tub but, other than that I have no complaints and I would recommend this product.UPDATE:Thursday, March 13, 2014I FINALLY got this thing installed. The delay was waiting to get the tub cleaned out really well.Now, while I stand by the fact that I think this is a good product, it is easier said than done to get it laid down smoothly AND straight!I started as instructed by peeling back about two inches of the backing from the end that goes near the drain. This seemed to go fine. Then, as I started to work backward I got a spot that creased and stuck to itself. This will not affect the mat's effectiveness but it doesn't look very good.As I continued working I noticed that the mat was starting to go more to one side (I think had I gone with my original plan of laying down some masking tape as a guide this would have been less likely to happen). Again this will not affect the usefulness of the mat. It just doesn't look as good as I'd like.One BIG problem that does not appear to have anything to do with my installation is that there is a spot about 6 inches or so from the drain edge where there is, for lack of a better term, a 'bubble.'This is a spot that just would not adhere to the tub surface and I am not sure why. I tried rubbing over it to smooth it down but it seems as though there isn't enough adhesive on that spot or something.This IS a problem as I can only imagine this spot getting a hole from wear or possibly even a tear.Unless it is a lack of adhesive the only thing else I can figure is that there might be a slight 'dip' in my tub on that spot.Other than these issues I still think this is a great product over all.Time will tell if it is worth the money I spent on it.Because of the issues I stated above I have lowered my rating from 5 stars to 3 stars.
