Soft and the zipper works fine. I read some saying the zipper was bad,nope all good! They seem long for Queen though. No noise either. Great buy too,price was great.

I've ordered and returned four different pillow protector orders in the last week, trying to find one I like. Finally hit paydirt, and these were the least expensive of them all! These protectors have smooth-running zippers that are at the END of the case (not inset 4" like others, which means you sleep on the zipper if you flip your pillow over!). They're silky smooth, so the pillowcase glides on easily over the top. Quiet, crisp color, and wash beautifully without shrinking. They don't make me sweat. These work great, can't say enough good about them. Buy a bunch, you won't be disappointed!

I gave this 4 stars because I expected them to have the waterproof lining inside. There is no lining. Just a smooth soft cover. I have to see how these will hold up with night sweats.

These are nice. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality for the price. They wash up nicely, are large enough to fit comfortably over the several kinds of pillows I have, did not shrink in the wash, and the zipper closure is good. Two thumbs up from me along with the five stars.

These pillow protectors are nice thick good quality material and they are soft and comfy. I’m not sure if these are for use under a pillowcase or if these are the pillowcase but they’re so nice I’m using them as the pillowcase. I’m kind of a rough sleeper so I need pillowcases that have zippers or by morning my pillow is either fully or half out of the pillow case. The price was fantastic. I’m very happy with the purchase.
