They paid a lot of attention to the details, so it's easy to replace the battery in my MacBook. The battery itself works really well and lasts a long time. If you need a new battery for your MacBook Pro, I highly recommend the ASMARK A2485. It's a great choice that goes above and beyond what you'd expect.

The first thing I noticed when I took this battery out of the packaging is the fact it's quite light compared to the one that comes with the laptop. I'm not sure if that's a good thing, as it makes the laptop lighter. Or if it's a bad thing, as the quality isn't as good. Either way, my husband managed to install this for me with relatively little fuss. Everything that he needed to do the changeover was supplied. The most important factor for me is performance and so far, after using the laptop heavily for the last week or so whilst travelling, it's performing really well. And every bit just as good as the original.

As the title says. I had an issue with this laptop and saw this battery come up, but wasn’t entirely sure if the battery would cure it, but it did! (The laptop had an intermittent charging issue where it wouldn’t charge properly, I was worried it was something more sinister) Switch over was fairly straight forward, and there are decent guides on line. (IFixIt etc) Comes with small tool kit, handy but easier if you have a proper electronics tool bit set. Battery capacity seems the same as oem. Charging speed is the same, and quality seems equal. Good value for money, happy to recommend!!

This is a great kit!! Why pay £250 for a 'battery service' with the laptop manufacturer when you could do this at home for a fraction of the price. You'll receive everything you need to complete the replacement. I'd suggest you watch a short online video tutorial if you've never done this before, just to get familiar with the process. I was having issues with my laptop charging sometime it would sometimes it wouldn't buy when I saw this come up I figured I'd give it a go and it has solved all my issues. I was initially very daunted at the thought of changing the battery but I found this pretty straight forward to do without any issues. This is definitely worth the money and I would recommend.

Ordered via vine I wanted to mention this before I get to the review, to any prospective buyers considering buying this excellent kit, who may be concerned about it's difficulty level to install. In addition to the Manual this product contains QR Code link to the ASMARK website, and then to their own dedicated step by step video/vocal tutorial guide. Enabling even novice IT users to hopefully use this kit to replace and fit the battery in the correct order, and as instructed via video and audio instruction. In my opinion the best part of this kit. One which otherwise, to the average user may be considered necessary, as this is a moderately difficult battery to install/replace. I don't own a Macbook Pro 16" 2021, though I'm an IT tech in my spare time and my Brother does own one, so he did not object to a brand new battery replacement being fitted, free of charge. Generally MacBook Pro's, Surface Laptops etc and others similar are becoming less and less user serviceable, unlike traditional laptops like my Dell Latitude, this isn't a 5 minute job Though unlike the SSD and RAM that are soldered in and not user upgradable, the manufacturer knows that their batteries must remain user-serviceable/replaceable as their portability on battery power would otherwise eventually be diminished. << Difficulty level >> ASMARK state: 60 mins duration. If you've never opened up a Laptop or upgraded any hardware before, ever. This typically is far from the easiest or fastest laptop battery to replace, relatively speaking. Though this 2021 Macbook Pro is well designed, with dual fans and pretty high spec. Chances are any prospective buyers looking to this battery and kit, will have the entry level experience necessary to at least consider taking on the task. Knowing this, ASMARK have done a fantastic job at making this product a full and Complete Battery replacement kit, it contains every tool and replacement part necessary to do the job. It includes a step by step by step manual with clear colour photos, instructions and best of all the QR code on the manual sends you to their own step by step video on ASMARKS youtube channel. Without both the manual and especially the video tutorial, this would be reasonably challenging to non-IT tech savvy people. But my own advice is that if you simply follow the steps in the video, it's not challenging, and you can take your time if you have little experience. I will say personally, I did not use much of the included tool kit, aside from the adhesive strips etc. Not as it was not adequate but simply as I did this at my brothers flat and I used my own existing PC/laptop repair kit that i've been using for years. I also did not need use the manual, instead I briefly skipped through the tutorial video beforehand just to memorise which order to do the various steps in. But once memorised, apart from removing the existing adhesive strips which is a bit slow and annoying, I didn't have any problems and this is a perfect fully comprehensive kit. Despite using my own existing portable kit, drivers and parts, I can say that the tools and parts provided by this product and kit are all perfectly adequate to do the job - there is nothing lacking or missing. It probably took me about 40 minutes, and though the existing battery was still functioning. This brand new one, being almost 3 years newer was an upgrade of sorts, it will certainly last longer between charging cycles. I don't have any photos mid-way through the process, but they would only look the same as the kits included manual photos and video tutorial. As Battery replacement kits go, this is the highest quality, most extensively designed battery kit i've ever fitted, and I noticed they do a range more on their webstore, each with their included tutorial video. The 2 year warranty and support contacts are also reassuring, if you need a replacement 16" Macbook Pro Battery as yours is too old and not lasting so long, i'd absolutely recommend this product. It's still a fair bit cheaper the original brand which at the same spec does not come with any DIY tool kit, manual/video with step by step instructions. So it's excellent value, and since ASMARK do specialise in these Battery & Replacement kits, the quality IMO is equal to the original you'd be replacing, and a better, wiser choice than unbranded versions. Me llegó la batería usada y original, es de otra macbook ya que al cambiar y encender me di cuenta que ya tenia 119 ciclos. No se porque a mi no me llegó una nueva como todos dicen.... tengan cuidado. De momento me la quedaré a ver si funciona correctamente para no estar desarmando y quitando de nuevo. Pero en mi caso mi experiencia no fue buena. Mucho cuidado

Ich habe diesen Akku bestellt, da bei einem Bekannten der Akku des Macs hinüber war (nur teilweise geladen und schnell leer). Abgesehen davon, dass Apple den original Akku wirklich stark fragwürdig verbaut und verklebt (und dementsprechend nichts mit diesen Artikel zu tun hat), kann man hier nicht meckern.. Der Einbau war super einfach.. Und es liegen alle nötigen Dinge mit dabei. Wie zB auch die kleinen Klebchen. Mac einschalten, Batterie kalebrieren und zack. Das gute Stück läuft wieder ohne Probleme! =) Ich kann den Akku beruhigt empfehen. Versand war auch schnell!

Batterie de rechange pour MacBook pro A2 485 pour 16 pouces (2021) A2527 franchement c'est plutôt cool car c'est une batterie de rechange de très bonne qualité et franchement il y a eu certains problèmes sur ces ordinateurs donc depuis que les batteries ont été changées apparemment ils ont été pas mal réglé donc j'ai voulu faire la commande de cette batterie que j'ai installé le jour du commentaire et franchement et bah tout marche nickel très facile d'utilisation livré avec des gants des tournevis franchement c'est vraiment top je recommande ce produit à 100 % ! Everything worked better than expected. Batter is working fine after more than month of usage. I didn't install it right away on m1max 16inch, but after 2 months I bought it. How to video and all the tooling was very helpful, thanks to the seller for that.

Overall I will settle for a 4 star rating. Initially I ordered this battery for my MBP 16 with M1 Max 3 months ago. I installed it, and despite following instructions around the first 10 cycles, the battery charge would rapidly fall from around 50% to around zero, making it problematic to use. Support from the seller was great however, can't say it was easy to convince them that there was something wrong with the battery I received, but they arranged for another battery to be sent to me free of charge. Yes I had to replace it again, incurring extra cost, but the second battery I got from them is working well so far, it's more reliable and battery discharge over use / standby is much more gradual and predictable. will keep this for a month or two and report how it goes.
