 I picked this bulb as I had ordered a new light shade for my living room, I usually buy up-lighters so there is no way to see the bulb itself but it's kinda become fashionable to have the bulb showing and with these vintage style bulbs it's just so much prettier to look at.LED bulbs are a little pricier to buy but they last a very long time and unlike the energy bulbs you get the full brightness instantly. Estimated to last a whopping 15,000 hours. My old energy bulbs lasted 8.5 years and I only changed to upgrade to LED so I'm not expecting to have to replace these for at least that time :-p

This bulb is gorgeous, reminiscent of the old times, quite steampunk looking. It arrived really well packaged in a plastic mould as well as the box. I can't wait to use it.

I purchased this bulb for a wall light in our recently renovated bathroom. It isn't the brightest bulb, but I knew that when I purchased it. I have ceiling downlights for brighter lighting, but I wanted a soft, warm glow for the wall light with an industrial feel. This fits the bill perfectly; it's economical & looks fantastic! My photo doesn't do it justice!
