Wand Button Lock Replacement for Rainbow E2 Vacuum Wands, Stainless Steel Wand Push Release Latch Lock

I have no idea how the one on my rainbow unit disappeared to prompt me to order this set! this fit perfect and easy to install

Quality is not good .Doesn't fit vacuum it claims to. Easy to install if it were right, the button part it to short and small .

I did have to spread the wings apart a little bit to get the right fit that I wanted. Vacuum shops didn't have any options for me. Such a simple and affordable fix. No more wasting effort, trying to hold my vacuum together, while I work.

These button locks work on my Beam vacuum even though the Beam wand has (had!) a riveted button lock. The button part broke off leaving the rivet in place. These replacements fit the pipe and hold the attachments in place but just barely. The metal in these things is very thin. I'm glad there are 3 because I don't think they will last long. They are made in China.

I don’t mind that these are made from cheap thin metal. I figured they would do the job fur a short time. Bad part is these don’t even do the job. The circle clip portion is too small to act as a catch for my Rainbow. It does not catch in the grooves to be able to hold the handle/wand assembly together.But at your own risk. They were not large enough to work for my rainbow, mind you it is an older version but I figured the wand is somewhat universal.

Now I don’t have to worry about the wand falling apart.

I thought they were thinner than I expected but they function just fine.

Jamming attachments on while fast cleaning can eventualy cause stress cracks in the spring steal. If you use your attachments enough, you will eventualy need to make this easy repair. simply slide the old one out and the new one in.
