The CIVIVI Folding Utility Knife is an excellent little cutter. It flips open easily and smoothly, making one-handed use simple. The long cutting edge is a big plus. It handles everything from boxes to heavier packaging without feeling cramped or underpowered. It’s small enough to disappear in your pocket, and the pocket clip works great for quick access. It stays secure without being bulky or uncomfortable to carry. The build quality feels solid and well-made, just like you’d expect from CIVIVI. This is a perfect everyday utility knife for anyone who wants something compact, sharp, reliable, and easy to carry. I’m really happy with it and definitely recommend it.

I really love this knife. I carry a knife every day and use it constantly - for opening Amazon packages, gardening, and cutting rope. In the past, I always hesitated to hand my knife to my wife, since she’s been known to run it through dirt, scrape it against metal or cut tons of cardboard, leaving me to sharpen the blade afterward. And yes, she’s done all of that. With this knife, I don’t have to worry. I can simply swap out the blade for a 15-cent SK2H razor. The action is smooth and easy, the knife is lightweight yet solidly built, and it feels great in hand. Perfect size for edc. It can be opened with a single hand - with either you thumb or index finger. My only gripe is that a tool is required to replace the blade. I have other razor knives that allow tool-free changes while still holding the blade securely. If this knife had that feature, it would be perfect. It requires at Torx T8.

This thing is very nice, especially for the price. Anodization is holding up very well, no chips after a month of almost daily carry. The scales are very smooth, but the shape helps keep the knife in the hand very well. Love to wear this knife in my 5th pocket, and carry a larger, heavier duty knife in my pocket. The button lock is also very fidget-friendly.

Overall, the quality is very nice and this is exactly what I was looking for so it met all expectations. It's super light at around 2oz., and small enough to fit in a 5th pocket. It also stays out of sight for stealth carry with a super deep pocket clip. It's not for heavy duty use, but it is great for most standard tasks and should not cause concerns in an office setting. It's a great fidget toy with multiple methods of deployment. You can use the back flipper which snaps it out easily and reliably, shake it out holding the release button, or use the thumb studs to ease it out. The small size makes the thumb studs with normal deployment work well enough, but a reverse flick is a little more challenging. Some people don't like that it takes a torx driver to change blades, this isn't the type of thing you are going to be using heavily all day to worry about that. Actually I prefer it since this will take any size blade I've tried unlike some other ones, and it locks up very tightly. Also the exposed cutting edge is longer than a lot of full size utility knives, 3/8" is all you aren't able to cut with.

I really felt like this knife was a little bit overpriced when I went to buy it. I really wanted to get one that was good quality and had a good action to it, so I went with this one instead of a cheaper off-brand one. I'm so glad that I did. The The opening motion is very smooth and really pleasant to flick. The button release is also smooth and easy to use. I haven't had any issues with it coming open or loose in my pocket either. The other thing I really like about this is that the entirety of the blade is exposed for use, instead of just the last bit of it like in a regular razor knife. I won't be flipping the blade around to use the other side like I might with a razor knife, but that doesn't bother me at all this is an excellent way to use utility knife blades and I'm very happy with the quality from this brand.

Build quality and feel is top notch. The button action is firm and satisfying. It releases with ease but also holds the blade in both open and closed position without any wiggle. Having to deal with the screw is a minor inconvenience but what you get in return is a solid feeling knife. For now, this is now my daily carry ... and I won't be worried about "abusing" the blade!

Love this utility knife. Easy to use and open. Flick the handle and the blade flips open like a regular pocket knife. Blades are normal utility blades and can be easily replaced with normal utility knife blades. Very compact and comfortable design. Perfect for any EDC bag. One and only gripe, to change out the blade you need a Torx bit or Star shaped bit to replace the blade. If you don't tighten the blade tight enough the blade can come loose.
