GAME CHANGER IN CERAMIC COATINGS!
I have been a professional detailer for over 10 years. I have always been searching for the best products I can find for paint protection etc. I will admit this is my first experience applying a ceramic coating but have know about them for awhile and have seen other brands applied to vehicles with ok results but nothing that really blew me away. I just purchased a brand new vehicle and decided this was the time to try to find the best ceramic coating I could find and try it. I have spent countless hours researching and calling different detail ships, vendors etc.... only a few stood out and this happened to be one of them. When I ordered this kit I also ordered Prep and wet coat made by Gyeon as others had suggested to improve my results. Two days the product arrived and I was impressed by the packaging alone. It looks well put together with instructions and all the necessary cloths for the install. (I highly recommend new high quality microfiber towels for install). After washing my vehicle with A mild dish soap and hot water I completely dried the vehicle and pulled it into my heated shop (72 degrees 0 humidity). I started with using the prep and making sure my paint was In prime condition before applying product. Once completed I started with my first coat of MOHS and let it sit for two hours before applying my next coat. Once both coats were done I let it sit over night. In the am I began with the last coat which is a product called skin. It went on very easy just like MOHS but right away I knew this stuff was unbelievable, it made the paint feel slippery.I let the product sit overnight as it needs at least 12 hours to cure. The final step in the process is called CURE. It adds a small shine and helps the longevity of the harder coatings. After all the proper steps and products were applied I pulled the vehicle out and that is where I was shocked.. the paint looked awesome before since it was brand new but after this kit it just had that “wet” look. The best part was how smooth and slippery the paint felt.. I have applied just about every wax or paint protection to vehicles for many years and all I can say is that this was unlike any of them.A few days later I needed to rinse the vehicle with straight water to get the dust off and it is truly incredible how hydrophobic the paint is. No wax or ceramic has ever made the paint like this. I even called a few of my other friends that are in the detailing business and told them how impressive this kit is. Everyone that has seen it is truly amazed. Even the others that have had ceramic coatings applied to their vehicles. My overall impression of this product is five stars. I wish i could give it ten because that’s what it really deserves. THIS IS A GAME CHANGER. I am truly blown away and can’t wait to try more of Gyeon’s products. If you are looking for a ceramic coating that is easy to apply and has the best overall result I wouldn’t look anywhere else.Note: I rarely write long reviews and I am not in any way affiliated with GYEON or was paid/offered free products for this review.(However I will except free products to try hint hint GYEON) :)

Great Product. Application clarification.
Took me 2 days to apply, but the effect is remarkable. Used on my white Model 3. Very hydrophobic.UPDATE: Ordered a second kit to apply to my daughter's new Kia Soul. Been awhile since I did the first kit on my car. First of all, prep is key. Wash the car thoroughly with a good dish detergent. I used blue Dawn soap. Wipe down the car to dry well with LINT-FREE microfiber clothes to avoid water spots and then let it dry further for at least a few hours more. I started using cheap Walmart-bought microfiber (MF) clothes and had to go to an auto-parts store to get lint-free ones. The lint from the cheap ones causes static and the tiny fibers will get sealed into the coating if not removed. Order GYEON Prep. This stuff works very well to completely de-grease. The Kia Soul had 13 miles on it by the time I got it onto my garage, it was the showroom model and still had a ton of crud on it (from transport I guess). Apply the GYEON Q2 MOHS per the instructions. Heavier on the first coat, lighter on the second. I used 1 of the small clothes for each application and changed MF clothes about every 3 panels. Again, I did this in a garage in mid-July in TN. Be sure not to let sweat/face oil drip onto your work surface. After the two applications of Q2 MOHS, let it dry for 24 hours (not 12-24 hrs per instructions). Next wipe down with MF (yes, LINT-FREE) and Q2M CURE. Spray onto the MF, NOT onto the car. Let the car set for another 24 hours. Finally, apply the Q2 SKIN. This is the extremely hydrophobic layer. This will make water bead and roll off the car. The MOHS protects the surface with 9H hardness, much like a smartphone screen protector; the SKIN repels water and road crud. Reapply SKIN about once a year to keep the hydrophobic properties. Hope this helps someone as the included directions are not quite as clear as they could be. I had to do a little research to make sure of the timing of applications.

Great shine and long lasting protection from the sun.
I have used several of the Gyeon products and love how easy to use and the value for the money. I am a diy detailed on my own vehicles and love these products. The have a great value for the money and easy to install. The shine has a great longevity once applied.

If I spent this much time waxing, results would be 3 times better
I kind of wish I had just waxed my car. All of the videos that say you have to polish your car and use a Claybar on your car first I think are full of crap, if you’re applying this on a new car. My car was spotless and then I use the Claybar scratching it all up, Then I polished it which didn’t really remove any of the scratches but made it shinier and then I spent two full days putting this coating on. It’s relatively easy to put on but the fact that you have to do three coats of the basecoat and one coat of the topcoat mean it takes forever to put on. I don’t really notice any difference and shine and the hydrophobicity is mediocre at best it’s about the same as waxing your car which is much easier three coats of wax and my car would be shinier....

Lasts for years
This was the second time I coated my car. The first time in Sept of 2018 the same day I got my car when it was delivered. Followed the instructions and made sure the car was clean. The first application lasted 4 years and I never had to wax my car. It worked so well that I decided to apply it again. The application of the Skin solution makes the surface so slippery that almost everything just slides off. Would highly recommend this do anyone wanting to ceramic coat their car.
