These are well designed lights and really easy to set up. They work great with the phone app and they can get REALLY bright! To set up, just plug the strip into the control box and lay it out! But, I had a problem with a damaged chip (data line) which made part of the strip "go dead" after working fine at first. Kind of like the old fashioned Christmas light sets, where one bad bulb could make others go dark. I didn't know this could happen and contacted "customer service" via e-mail, where a representative quickly and patiently talked me through troubleshooting the issue. In the end, she determined that I had a damaged chip and she sent me an entirely NEW roll of lights right away! The new roll works fine and the customer service from Pautix was EXCELLENT! I will definitely buy from them again when I have a new lighting project! Good Product - GREAT Customer Service! Thank you, Pautix!

They look great! I built an acoustic panel and placed the strip along the backside of the frame. I have a one inch space between the frame and the wall so the strip had enough room to reflect light between the wall and frame.

These lights are so good and bright they light up so good, they work so well, they’re so worth it for the price, and it works so well when it comes to how the remote works and how the light works.

RGB COB strip is solid - good brightness, good color control for a decent price. The App has little to offer outside of direct, phone-in-hand control. Note that this is not compatible with google/alexa - its "smart" referring to direct smartphone app control (Wish i realized this the 1st time around) Customer service - pautix reached out and sent me a google compatible controller. solid. The app bad stuff: - Tries to autoconnect to devices while logging in the first time - It didn't connect and then the app was unresponsive. Had to force close the app. get around this by having the strip ready to go/powered before working with the app. There's also a setting to turn this off if you can get there before it pops up/freezes. - All scheduling is deleted when the SP611E is powered off so it'll continue to leech power in the off cycle. If you experience power outages, this is better managed with a smart plug + google/alexa.

Very good quality and worked will in my application

These are worthless. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!! I only used 18 feet of the whole run. I cut them into 4 total sections around the underside of my kitchen cupboards. Once plugged in, only the first strip lit up to the first splice point. I assumed voltage drop and connected the pigtail 24v/grnd wires to the end of the entire run. That lit up the original first section and added the very last 2 inches to a cut point(that was not cut) and left everything in between dark. I am not sinking more money into running additional wiring to every splice and hiding unnecessary wires under my cupboards. Let my mistake be your lesson to learn. Buy American!

Used this item in my classroom this year. They held up all year on the brick, and metal walls in my classroom. I did not have to tape them up and lasted all throughout the school year! The kids loved changing the light features, and in fact I made it one of my classroom jobs, "Energy Expert". It is great for holidays, and other classroom celebrations. It was super easy to stick on the wall, the colors are great, and a good value for the product.

These are my absolute favorite light strips! I use these in my house for my game room and I use the 5v ones for cosplay. The look of these lights are seamless and extremely bright and beautiful. They can be controlled with a remote or app. The remote allows you to put the lights in various modes and has decent amount of setting for mood lighting, including sound activation. However the app for these lights is third-party and virtually useless. It quite literally doesn't do anything at all and has terrible ratings for good reason so you are better off using the remote.
