Brilliant, reliable router, but expensive and awkward to configure for some of the advanced features.
Very very good router, if expensive. Bought to replace an earlier model which died after about 3 years intensive use.Gives amazing level of detail on line speed, connection time etc. So far I am not using the DECT capability or software PBX on this device, but they do both work well I know from previous experience with FritzBox. I am knocking one * off because setting up some features is just so fiddly I gave up - for instance trying to access the storage on a USB key on the device. Likewise the DECT capability on this one seemed even more fiddly than on the last device.

Not cheap but best yet
Having tried a few router/modems this is by far the best, very powerful, much easier to set up and use, very comprehensive instructions and details, very flexible, especially on the phone aspect,,so far it has not disconnected, (unlike the freebie from the ISP,) hope it continues to work as it is now, only time will answer that one, will update in the future....

Constant problems with phantom phone calls, up to 40 ...
Constant problems with phantom phone calls, up to 40 a day, this is a known problem with these routers which the manufacturer is not interested in solving, do a search for Fritzbox phantom calls and you'll get the picture.
