easy to install, works great and does not effect water flow.

This is the second purchase that I have bought for these filters. I have one for me and one for my daughter, and we’ve both have noticed a difference in our skin and my hair. I would recommend this!

I've had this installed now for around 4 months and it's hard to tell if it actually filters effectively. It definitely softens water. Usually by this point I would have to remove calcified deposits from the shower head but this has effectively removed them. I would imagine that it's effective up to the traditional filtering range for most of these multi media filters that use layered media. I'm happy enough with not having to deal with cleaning my shower heads anymore so I think this was a decent buy. I have notices some minimal improvements in my dandruff maybe this helped, it's hard to tell with these things unless I had water analysis.

The product is so good.

I connected one to the main shower head and left the second shower head unfiltered. After a few weeks of enjoying the filtered water I switched on the second shower head that’s unfiltered, and nearly gagged at the smell of chlorine coming from the unfiltered side. This gets my vote.

Unfortunately, at less than a year old, the casing developed a pinhole allowing a fine, long stream of water to spray above our tile high up onto the drywall. The spray was so fine it was hard to notice when getting into the shower since my husband and I both wear glasses. I don't know how long it had been leaking, but by the time I finally I caught sight of it, mold had begun to grow on the drywall. I did like it up until then. Good water flow, and notably softer water. But pretty unhappy now that I have a mold remediation problem and will have to repaint my wall.

Honestly, all around a good purchase with good value for it's price. It's easy to install, doesn't lower water flow significantly, and comes with enough Teflon tape to complete a clean installation.

Could tell a difference with the first use.
