I want to love this pen, I really do, its handy and looks beautiful. The touch screen end is ok, the pen is ok, and everything else is near flawless. The build quality is next to none, the design is wonderful and pragmatic. Edit: after using this pen for a while Ive grown to really enjoy it, its weight is very nice and I stand by the build quality, although "next to none" may have not been the best hyperbole. The touch screen end is helpful with gloves on so I found it useful. I then recant my 3 star rating, and upgrade my opinion to 4 star. 3RD edit: I love this pen hands down, it took a little time to get used to, Ive used every function of it. It took some time to love, but every function that I ended up needing was a small bit of enlightenment. Lastly I have the silver version.

A great gift for the nerd or engineer in your life, and not that expensive. It is well built and feels solid. It's sort of a Swiss army knife of pens. The barrel has 4 scales and a bubble level. The pen is comfortable to hold and writes well, at the top there is a stylus for tablets and other capacitive touch screen devices, and when that is removed there is a tiny screwdriver inside with small straight slot and Phillips heads on opposite ends.

This is a handy little gadget! It is a weighty, sturdy stylus, which was what I was looking for. In addition to that, it is a great ballpoint pen, a measuring tool, a level, and a small screwdriver! It met and exceeded my expectations. I have purchased several for gifts, and everyone has loved them. I've used mine every day since I received it.

This pen is awesome except the ink. All the options work well. It looks great, and had a good weight. But it leaves blank spots when you write with it. I wander if there is an alternate replacement ink you can buy. If anyone finds one, let me know.

Nice Looking Pen but VERY heavy and a bit too think for my hands (this isn't a draw back per say, just my own personal preference) I did not deduct stars for this. My major draw back is simple, a pen should write cleanly, and smoothly, that's its primary function. This pen doesn't do that. The ink isn't very good, it skips on almost every word and also tends to smudge (3 star deduction). My suggestion is to switch out the ink for something better if you really like the style and fit of this pen in your hand. I would have given this pen 0 stars if the design, build, and style qualities weren't so exceptional. It truly is a very nicely built pen with handy features. It's a real shame they botched the ink. I also picked up some of there replacement ink and the local office store (incase the ink i received was just a bad, or old run of ink) but alas it was the same as the ink shipped with the pen - Crappy.

I purchased the ballpoint pen along with the pencil. The weight and feel of the product is very good and I receive numerous positive comments about the tool pen. HOWEVER, I am not very happy with the mini ink refill. I would appreciate a full size refill and interchangeability with a Cross Pen refill. The current mini refill for the pen has two types of ink flow: too much and too little. Monteverde should put a little more quality behind their pen refills. I chose to replace the black ball point pen with a standard mini blue ink refill for the tool pen and resorted to using nail polish to hold the pen refill in the plastic retainer. Where is the consistency in the product. Overall I am very positive on the pen for quality of workmanship and feel when writing. I give the ballpoint pen portion an "F" for quality and consistency.

Second time I bought this pen for the second time because I dropped the first and I broke. I contacted Monteverde and they wanted $13 to send back and repair. So I bought a second. Now less than 2 months later now my new one is broken as well. Both pens had the same exact thing go wrong. The ball point pen/refill won't stay down in the writing position. Now $50 bucks later I have 2 junk pens but everything in my house is level!

This is a handy pen to own and give as a gift. It is well made and also writes well. I like the stylus feature as well as it speeds up and improves my accuracy when texting. It also come as a pencil, rollerball and fountain pen.

I finally received this tool; I would have said pen but if you are looking for a pen you will be disappointed because the skinny refill is only 2" long. The screwdrivers (2) are very small, (too large for glasses repair and too small for anything else) The level is sort of okay for in a pinch and the stylus is not very good for smart-phones or any detailed work. The ruler is alright for a rough gauge of something you may want to pace out or for roughly measuring smaller items. This pen would be best used as a tactical pen because it is long and sturdy. All things considered it is worth the money if you don't need a functional long term pen. It does look good though and you may empress someone with it; very over priced though for what it is. :-)
