Cruisers Handbook of Fishing 2/E (INTERNATIONAL MARINE-RMP)

You probably won't read all of this book, it's a seriously in-depth reference work on fishing for cruisers, when what you really need is a quick guide (seriously he describes the best lure and it takes three chapters to work out what it is!)But once you fold over the pages with the quick tables it's very useful :)

Diagrams and pictures dated - could do with an update. Full of useful stuff,

Not quite as informative as I hoped for. A number of techniques are given that are useful but generally all the information provided is freely available on line. I had hoped and expected more on fish identification as well as the basics.

Nice book, but could be better..... No color, and not many pictures......

Bought this as a present for my brother who is off sailing around the world. He has already found it an invaluable resource when out ast sea and internet is but a distant memory. Looking to get another copy for myself and other sailing buddies.

I wish I had this book when I owned my last boat. Its full of really informed knowledge and experience of how to catch, prepare and cook or preserve all kinds of seafood but mainly fish of course.Not the usual stuff that's written to order for a publisher that thinks they see a gap in the market. This book is written by someone who really knows what they are writing about.

This is a really good book covering pretty well everything you can possibly think of for sea fishing. It's clearly been written by someone who knows what they are doing with the skill to translate that expertise into words. I learned a lot from this book and highly recommend it.
