Works perfectly!!
A guy at Home Depot told to buy this type but it would take a week to arrive so I checked Amazon. Got it the next day and it fit perfectly. The bathroom handle works great. Had a Plumming guy come out and he said, I needed a whole new set for my sink. what!! Thank goodness I am not one to believe everything I am told. He sounded like BS. Told him bye that's OK. I got this.

Excellent replacement part
Perfect replacement for 25 year-old Newport Brass 930 bathroom faucet. Great value vs. EOM parts. Quick delivery, easy install, no leaks. Feels solid when turning water on/off. All good!

Solid brass. Exact Fit. 5 min install!
The old cartridge was broken and leaking. Removal took a bit of time due to age and corrosion. After confirming the measurements, I ordered, which arrived two days later. The installation with a wrench, channel locks, and a screwdriver took <5 min., and had the bath sink hot water on again. I could not be happier with the solid brass quality and exact fit, especially for the price. I highly recommend if this cartridge is the right fitment/spec for your application. Home Depot was twice the price and not available in the store. Shipping was not free and would take 10 days. Lowes did not offer it. Local plumbing supply wanted $89.00 and would arrive in two days, but they were twenty minutes away...so not worth it.

"Newport Brass" replacement cartridge
Brass 1-001 & Brass 1-002 Ceramic Valve Set Couldn't find this at Home Depot or Lowes. These saved the fixtures in my bathroom - both sinks were leaking. These replacements went in easy, and work smoothly with no leaks. Apparently these are for "Newport Brass" brand faucets, but my faucets had no visible branding. I just carefully compared the picture and measurements. I had a devil of a time getting the old cartridges loose from the fixture. The "nut" at the top is pretty shallow, and hard to get a good grip on. I had to pull the whole faucet out from the sink, mount it in a bench vise, and then use a large pipe wrench on the upper threads on order to break it loose. I recommend using a little silicone grease on the o-ring and threads before installing. Knocking a star for price. These are quite a bit more expensive than other cartridge types.

well worth it
These work great. Exact fit and so much cheaper than the local plumbing supply. I know they have a storefront but it really seems like a ripoff with them charging three times as much.

Works good and cheaper than OEM.
Worked great for my Newport Brass hot water faucet valve. It is made in China and surprisingly it has been working great, no drips or leaks.

Good replacement for Newport Brass faucet cartridge
Fits an old Newport Brass clawfoot tub faucet and seems to be the same quality as the original. Expensive, but the faucet itself was also expensive, so it's expected

Worked as needed
At first, I couldn’t get these to fit, and intended to return them, but with some thread locker and being careful these worked well. I have old Sherle Wagner faucets that I couldn’t find cartridges for anywhere. I did have to modify the existing set up slightly but it allowed me to keep the very expensive sink hardware that came with the house.
