Great Budget Portrait Lens for Sony & Content Creators
Sharp images, smooth background blur, and quick autofocus for the price. Works great for portraits, low-light shots, and video content creation on my Sony E-mount camera. It’s lightweight and easy to carry, though the focus motor can be a little noisy in very quiet settings. Overall, excellent value for a fast prime lens.

A great lens, especially for the price
Lots of choices here in this focal length, but I think this is the best one out of the many with this price. If I could afford it, or if I did this a bit more seriously I would buy the Sigma for the wide aperture, but this is sufficient and incredibly sharp in the center. I don’t see a color change, either like I saw with the Meike in some test footage.

Great lens, I use it often
Works great, nice tight view. Perfect for portraits and street photography. Feels solid and well built. Comes with the lens shield. No issues at all it's great for what I needed it for. Lens shield fit with the UV filter perfectly as well.

SHARP! Great autofocus.
This lens really exceeded my expectations. I have a 35mm f/0.95 manual from tt as well, and while not as sharp fully opened I love the character of the pictures. I thought i'd give this one a try: it's sharp. The attached pictured was taken at f1/8, 1/100, i800. I took a screenshot of the eye zoomed at 200%. The autofocus is also pretty fast and accurate -faster than the sony kit lenses I have. Very little focus breathing for those who care. Very nice background separation. Also, very good low light performance.

Un objetivo excelente, y la construcción metálica es de primera y la calidad de las fotos es sorprendente sobre todo considerando su precio. Muy recomendable.

Good lens, not super sharp as sony lenses but can get the job done. I find videos shot on this lens looking good as compared to photos however it losses focus sometimes and suffers from focus breathing as expected but if you flick it to manual focus that not a big problem at all. Lens let's in alot of light at F1.8. In my experience it gets you good photos when using using light in the outer door as compard to flash.. Good for the price. Only question is why there has not been an update for it's firmware, maybe that would fix some focus breathing issues for the Sony models

I love this focal length. On an APS-C body with IBIS, it’s perfect for candid telephoto shots. PROS: Stupid value for the money. Center sharpness is great, but also across the frame when stopped down. The lens hood is surprisingly effective. Smooth, accurate focus ring. Lens works equally well in both AF and MF modes (unlike my other lenses). In fact, if I want to shoot manual with the option of AF in emergencies, this is the lens I choose every time. CONS: A bit on the heavier side, but it’s not terrible.
