Easy to make, I like that it also has the noodles in it. Tasty, not spicy. Hope they'll make a spicy one in the future.

Taste was just okay. I thought it would be spicier, but it was more smoky with deeper chili notes. I added some chili crisp to try to give it the flavor I was looking for, and that helped it. I also added a bit of cheese to it which helped get it to be the flavor I desired. The rice cakes were delicious and a great texture, reminded me of a gnocchi. I separated them before cooking so they would cook evenly. If you are wondering how spicy this is, my spice-averse 9 year old tried it and liked it.

Has potential, but:1. It's bland. I suggest adding some salt, chili oil, and whatever else you may like.2. It needs to be cooked with more water, and for longer, than the package says. I made it according to the directions on the packaging, and the rice cakes were still hard. They didn't have enough water/time to steam and become soft.

I bought the bean flavor too and I should have just bought one before buying more because now I have this flavor and I didn’t like the bean flavor. I can’t return even if I didn’t open the amazon box at all. Sucks but hey, atleast I can give a one star review :). Terrible noodles.

Definitely follow the instructions, the first one I used a little too much water andddd I had delicious soup haha. The second one turned out perfect! The little rice cake things were weirdly satisfying from a texture standpoint, but they held no flavor and tasted almost like cardboard. Super easy to prepare, a very quick snack, and surprisingly filling as well! At first I didn't think I'd buy more of these.. But I will likely purchase more just for the convenience of a quick lunch.
