Amazon Brand - Solimo Medium Roast Coffee Pods, Colombian, Compatible with Keurig 2.0 K-Cup Brewers, 100 Count

This is my favorite go-to for medium coffee. I do not use any creamer, so I do not like an extremely dark taste, but I also hate light or thin coffee. This is a great example of what medium should be. Before trying to the amazon private label, I usually stuck with green mountain and my go to was nantucket blend. I find this similar.

My mother is absolutely hooked on this coffee—in the best way possible! The Solimo Decaf Light Roast Breakfast Blend is her daily obsession. If she could, she’d probably have it delivered via slow drip IV. 😂The flavor is smooth, mellow, and just right for someone who enjoys a light roast without the caffeine jitters. The coffee is good , but the price could definitely be better. Almost $11 for 24 cups . I can drive up the block and purchase 36 cups for $12.95 ( and I do) , not such a good Value.Sorry Amazon.

If you like a good flavor with a strong, yet smooth, taste - this is your coffee pod. I have drank Community all my life -- several of their flavors and the first pod of SOLIMO DARK ROAST had me. After 73 years, OK - I didn't have my first taste until I was 3, so 70 years of coffee drinking, I didn't think anything existed but Community -- old peeps can learn. There is a better coffee. SOLIMO. Try it if you like a good dark roast -

Amazon brand coffee was on sale and in today's climate, it's all about saving money but not compromising too much. I was pleasantly surprised how wonderful this coffee tastes. I enjoy dark and French roast coffee, and this really did fit the bill!It tastes great, is so smooth tasting, I actually want more than one cup. The strength is good, not weak and not too strong, just right. It has a rich, smooth flavor and not acidic at all. I would highly recommend this if you are on a budget or not. It's a great alternative to the higher priced coffees and offers great taste. You'll definitely be happy drinking this!

While the coffee tastes OK, I emptied the capsule bin and compared these plastic capsules with some of the original metal Nespresso brand capsules that came with this new machine. I was shocked to note that the four holes in the thin membrane of the plastic ones were tiny compared to the aluminum Nespresso holes. I think the reason is that the plastic capsules have a very thin alumnum foil type base, which offers little resistance to the puncture prongs, so a minimal hole results, whereas the solid aluminum capsule gives more resistance and you get about a triple sized hole by comparison.The base should have four holes for the water flow. Also looking at the top of the capsules, I noted that only about half of the waffle type squares were punctured in the plastic capsules, whereas about 80% of the squares of the Nespresso capsule were punctured. This has to affect water flow and I wonder if much of the coffee in the plastic pods doesn't even get wet enough to contribute to the coffee. So in future I will shop for solid aluminum base capsules only, I think it is quite a difference.

All three of the Solimo flavors of coffee that I have purchased (Colombian, French and Dark Roast) are very good. All very flavorful. My favorite is the Dark Roast, but the Colombian is one of the best available. Definitely will continue to buy all three.

These are not the best Keurig-type capsules I've ever had, but they are very good. And the price point is excellent. So we will continue to purchase these. The dark roast gives the coffee a lot of depth and flavor that many other capsules don't have.
