Was easy to set up and works really well.

Set up was easy. The picture is very clear until you use night vision which is generally poor on most cameras.Plenty of functions and very easy to use.If there was one thing that really let me down it is the sound of the alarm which even at maximum, is hardly heard outside if the room it is in

I own four Switch Bots. Just purchased this latest one. Great product. Relatively easy set up even for a non technical person like me. Definition great. I can see the two cameras I have set up at home without difficulty. Recommend you buy a 128GB memory card with the product. Saves any upload costs. I will be ditching my Alarm company next year and the cost savings in a year would cover all your camera needs. You get instant alerts and you can monitor and prove deliveries/ non deliveries. The company help desk is excellent. The App works well. Would recommend this company’s Bots without hesitation.

I already have 2 of the earlier version of this camera, so was keen to try this upgrades version out.The image quality is noticeably improved, particularly in low light. This aided by the larger aperture and higher spec cmos sensor.They seem to have perfected motion tracking which works brilliantly..There doesn't seem to be any video lag either.Setup took all of a few minutes and was quick and painless. There is a USB charger and a slim flat USB C cable included (not micro USB like it says in description)I'll add some comparison photos once I've spent more time with it, first impressions though, I'm very happy..

Unfortunately an epic fail for me.Despite working on this 'simple to install' camera for some time now (giving it WAY more time to resolve issues that it deserves), it has not worked from day one.All I've got on trying to view the camera is half a minute of 'loading video', followed by 'failed to load'.the camera has been tried on several networks and through a number of different devices, and still nothing.Now, I use a number of my own near-identical cameras here at home from numerous manufacturers (and reviewed many others), and while some are obviously far better than others, I've never had one... until now... that has completely failed to show ANY video whatsoever.Despite numerous installs/uninstalls, re-registering the camera to the app, a firmware update etc, nothing works to get any video from the camera. The camera is certainly visible in the app; and various settings can be made to the camera through the app; but that's about it.It's possible the camera itself is faulty of course, and I could have received a rogue bit of hardware that simply doesn't work.On checking feedback on the app that controls the camera (and other equipment) however, it seems I'm not alone with problems for Switchbot gear.I can only review on personal experience with this camera, hence the negative rating.On a quality/value-for-money basis... 1-Star.

Using it as a baby monitor, the camera quality is much better than the competition. All competing baby monitors are 1080 which do not give good quality when zoomed in. This camera has 2k video feed so zoom looks much better.It's 360 camera so no matter how I keep it I can rotate it to check the surroundings.Was very easy to setup. Just took a minute and then was up and running. Motion detection works well. SD card storage means I don't need to pay for cloud storage. Google home and Alexa setup was very easy and convenient as competitor baby monitors don't have this support for video feed.Highly recommend the 2k version. Very good company.

The product is good, all functions are working fine. But it's made in China, better to power off or put privacy mode on when you are at home.

It was so easy to set up this camera. Download the Switchbot app, sign up and then plug in the camera. The whole process took no more than a couple of minutes.I have started to use the camera to monitor the front of the house (obviously from the inside as this camera is for indoor use only) and for the first 2 days it has been without a SD card. An SD card is on its way !I have the camera set for Human Detection and so far whenever it detects such movement a notification is sent through to my iPhone.Picture quailty is pretty good too. I also have a Kasa Spot camera which is only 1080p and the difference in picture quality between the two cameras is quite noticeable .From the app you can also pan and tilt the camera as well as set a number of adjustments such as Motion Detection, Night Vision.Currently the Kasa 2k pan and tilt camera is £54 and this Switchbot 3k camera is £79.99.There is no denying that this Switchbot camera is very good, appears to be very well made and gives a great picture but I am not sure I would pay the extra £25 over and above the Kasa 2k camera.If a 3K picture quality is important to you then you may be happy to pay the premium price of this Switchbot camera. If you just need a decent reliable camera for use indoors and budget is important then you might want to look at the alternatives first.If this camera was nearer £60 than £75 I would have awarded it 5 stars . Its cost is the only rerason I only give it 4 stars as to be honest I cannot fault the camera at all.Incidentally Switcbot do sell a variety of other cameras and sensors which can all be linked using their Hub Mini, so you can if you wish build a whole 'eco system' of Switchbot stuff.
