Great seeds
5 Stars – Transformed My Lawn with Rapid Growth and CoverageI purchased the Outsidepride White Dutch Clover Seed to overseed my existing lawn and address several bare spots. Living in Zone 6, I sowed the seeds during the rainiest part of spring, hoping for the best. To my delight, the clover germinated rapidly—within a week, I noticed vibrant green sprouts emerging. The consistent spring rains provided ideal conditions, and the clover took full advantage, spreading quickly across the lawn. It didn't just fill in the bare spots; it established a lush, green carpet that blended seamlessly with the existing grass. Now, my lawn looks fuller and healthier than ever before. The clover has proven to be low-maintenance and resilient, requiring less watering than traditional grass and staying green even during dry spells. Additionally, it's attracting pollinators, adding life and movement to my yard.Overall, this clover seed exceeded my expectations. It's an excellent choice for anyone looking to enhance their lawn's appearance and health naturally. Highly recommended!

Germinates quickly. Grows where nothing else does.
Incredibly happy with this purchase. I originally picked up one 5 lb bag and ended up getting a second for thicker coverage. When we first moved into our house, about half the yard was dirt. Over the years I’ve spent a decent amount of time and money trying to seed it with grass and managed to fill a decent portion, but nothing ever succeeded in the area directly out our back doors and porch. Consequently, dirt is always getting tracked into the house and it became a muddy mess when it rained. I had done some research decided to try out clover for this area (we also keep bees, so clover had an added bonus for that). I was surprised when the seeds I put down germinated within 3 days and showed little green leaves by the end of the first week. I included a before/after picture that includes pictures that are 2-weeks apart.

This stuff GROWS.
This stuff grows like crazy. Our yard is destroyed from a dog running around, basically 50% dirt, all compacted. I put down 10lb of this seed mixed with some tall fescue and it grew like crazy. A month after putting it down and our backyard is green for the first time in years.I hardly did any prep, just some light raking to loosen the very top of the soil. I made sure to water it well at least once a day on the days we didn’t get any rain. Will definitely be buying this again in the fall and overseeding our backyard like crazy with it.

Good seed.
I was a bit worried at first because I am not a grdener and know very little about plants in general, but almost every seed sprouted. I planted them in very difficult spots in my yard and even with the wind and rain pushing them around, they still sprouted. Just keep in mind that clover needs a lot of water while they're little. I planted mine in early April and it took about a weekish before they sprouted, which is a bit longer than the bag said. What got planted in the shade is doing much better than the ones that got planted in the sun. It probably has more to do with how my property is laid out because I'm trying to grow in areas that have been very difficult for even the weeds to grow. The bigger question is how much will you need? I'd say for an average sized (American Suburb) yard that has zero grass and you're starting from nothing, maybe one bag. The seeds are tiny and there are so many. I didn't even use my entire bag. So if your yard is bigger than that or if you're doing front and back yards, probably more than 1 bag.I covered mine in straw and it really helped keep the moisture on them. I would definitely buy this again.

great product
I wanted to write an update - I planted this last year, and it did fine. This year, as everything has started growing, it has amazed. It is thick and lush. I live in Kansas, and it's been happy with all of our extreme weather. If you plan to mow it, know it is thick and holds moisture - if you want a ground cover that doesn't need to be mowed, it is perfect. If you like bees, they will be there - they don't bother us, but if I were allergic, I would want to know this. Definitely getting more this year.

Stupidly Easy to Grow!
This was my first time planting clover seeds. I sprinkled some seeds on top of fresh top soil on bare parts of my yard. We've been having almost daily rainy weather, so I haven't needed to water my yard as much. The clover already began sprouting within a couple of days. The storm even blew seeds into other parts of my yard where I didn't lay any top soil, and it's still sprouting on the very compacted old soil. I just bought another bag to keep planting more. The other side of my yard has mature clover growth that occurred naturally, and it's literally the prettiest, greenest part of my yard and doesn't require any mowing.

Not for far north climates
This may work great in some climates but it doesn't seem to survive northern Minnesota winters. It grew wonderfully when we planted it and looked amazing by the end of the summer but it just wouldn't come back the next spring. The yard is fenced in and it was planted in low traffic areas of the yard. All I can figure is that the close to Canada tundra climate kills it off during the winter. It may be fantastic in a milder climate but not so much in the extreme cold of a Minnesota winter.

Great!
I’ve bought this 3 times now. They grow great! I do water the garden at least once a day, 3 if I’m off work, once if I’m at work all day, 2 times perhaps if do a short day. I’m in Los Angeles if anyone here is wonderimg about location. They sprouted in maybe 2 or 3 weeks, but they grow well and once they get started, they go! The first time I planted I thought they weren’t going to work, but they did!
