Love this dryer.
This was a perfect dryer. Great price. Got delivered on time and well packaged. Very economical for power consumption.....50% cheaper than old A rated dryer. Compact and no required for hoses. Clothes dried gently....not roasted. Love it.

A good purchase
Very happy with this machine! As hanging laundry is a pain, but using the old dryer was not eco in any way. Mind you, it's new (December '24). Who knows, it might not last. I advise ensuring the use of both halves of the lint filter! The inner filter was forgotten once and the heat exchanger behind the maintenance panel got a thick coating of lint, which gave our vacuum cleaner a lot of work before we used the drier again. I fear that we made quite a bad mistake and hope the machine doesn't suffer because of it. I stuck everything in together - t-shirts, bedding, tea towels, pads, satin pjs, - set it to cottons standard and relaxed until it was done a few hours later. All good. The items felt neither hot nor cold as they came out and they were all perfectly dry and no need to iron them. I did not put my woollens in as I'm not sure the machine will treat them right. The water container was easy to empty. The filter was easy to clean. The static made fluff and cat hair stick all over (what happened to the cat hair before, I wonder??) and in future I'd have a damp cloth with me when cleaning the filter. The heat exchanger gets covered with lint every cycle so I use a vacuum cleaner brush on high, but gently so as not to break the metal. Note that the door hinge is on the right. I would have chosen a different position for the machine if I had noticed that before. The machine is heavy, not like the old machine we replaced with this, so I got the installation service.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!
I love my heat pump tumble dryer! Not only is it highly energy efficient, it has about all the functions you could possibly ever think of in a tumble dryer. Automatic wrinkle stop, check. Refresh mode, check. What it does not have, I do not need. Easy front panels for the water container, the lint trap and the heat exchange thingamabobber on the front that needs cleaning every now and again.

Fantastic dryer for what it cost!
We needed a dryer desperately since moving, and had recently had issues with our Samsung washing machine (so keen to avoid Samsung and LG when buying a dryer). After lots of research Midea have been in the US and China for decades, but they’re fairly new to the UK. Reviews all seemed promising, so we took a gamble and ordered. Some people flagged heat pump dryers of being slow, but they’re really not. Although it can say over 3 hours when first turned on, the time soon drops when the humidity sensor recognises a drop during the cycle. It’s also far from noisy and quieter than most dryers! One thing I did want to flag, as some people mentioned the light didn’t work inside the drum. This isn’t true, as you can see from the video, and it really helps making sure everything is taken out of the machine. Really impressed with this feature and quality for a machine just over £300. Will have to see how it lasts.

Great Tumble Dryer
I researched tumble-dryers for a while before choosing this. In the end I went for this, rather than a cheaper one as it is a heat-pump tumble dryer. The price was very good and I bought it when it was slightly lower than I had previously seen it. It can be plumbed into a drainage outlet but I haven't done this, as I don't mind emptying the water-container, that is conveniently situated at the top-front of the machine. It works really well and I find that I can always be sure the clothes will be ready to fold or hang when it finishes. They're are plenty of programs and I do use the delay function so that I can dry clothes in the early-hours, ready for sorting-out when I get up. I have had tumble-dryers before but I had been without one for about a year and hadn't realised how much time, drying and ironing clothes was taking-up. I am extremely happy with this dryer.
