Buddy Rich's Modern Interpretation of Snare Drum Rudiments (Book Only)

I took over 13 years of drum lessons from the percussionist for the Florida Symphony Orchestra...an incredible teacher and learned a lot...but I wish WE had this book! It covers ALL the fundamentals and expands on them. While I don't drum for a living I do love to play....going on 40 years now this book took me back to the rudiments I fell in love with as a kid!!

Just learn each step and there you are!

Good exercises in the back that’s about it though it’s worth buying for the excersises though. I didn’t really care for the other stuff.

This book is excellent for all level of drummers. Shows and explains all rudiments very simply and easy to understand. Especially helpful for the beginning drummer.

great book for practice

Purchased as a birthday present for my father-in-law, Jimmy French, who played drums in the 1950s with the Don Smith Orchestra on the Light Programme's "Break for Music". He says the book is well written.

Excellent and easy to follow, it would have been better in a fold flat book as its quite a rigid book.

Anche se sembra abbastanza semplice, dipende alla velocità e scioltezza volete portare gli esercizi scritti in questo metodo, se li volete portare come il buon Buddy occorrono anni e litri di sudore (ammesso abbiate gran talento batteristico/musicale), ottimo metodo per trarre spunti e sviluppare la propria velocità, scioltezza, potenza e creatività. Consigliato anche per chi suona a livello intermedio a patto sia seguito da un buon insegnante.

È stato un regalo molto gradito ad un batterista!
