Such great peace of mind.
We have an open garden that is accessible straight from the side of the house and this is so good for peace of mind. Easy to use and install, can be used inside and out. We have ours outside and no damage from the horrible weather. Has alerted us of a delivery driver who went into the back garden so works well and effectively. Great value for peace of mind.

Security on a budget.
The media could not be loaded. Professionally fitted and maintained alarm systems can be very costly, if budget is an issue or something fairly basic is required then this may fit the bill. You get a lot in the box - a siren, two (very small) motion sensors, three door/window sensors and two remote controls. There is also a set of instructions that are pretty easy to follow. The sensors and remote controls are battery operated - button batteries that generally last in the region of about two years - and are supplied. Good. The siren is mains powered. The lead on the power supply is fairly short so careful consideration is needed regarding placement of the siren. The siren is loud - 120dB, for comparison purposes, 120-140dB is about the loudness of a rock concert and 120dB is generally considered to the lower limit of the human pain threshold for sound, so that's loud, and again, consideration should be given to siren location. So, you get a lot, the alarm is very loud and it doesn't require specialist tools or knowledge to install. This is all good. The component parts of the system are connected wirelessly up to 300ft in open space, of course the presence of walls, doors etc will impact this distance so it would be worth trying everything out before installation, and there's no app or software to download. The motion sensors have a small, screw down mount and the door sensors are installed using sticky pads, it's all very simple. I have to say the build quality of the motion and door sensors seems a little basic and don't seem very sturdy, but I think they're ok at this price point, though I don't know how long they will last.I think where this type of system comes into its own is with outbuildings such as sheds, stores, garages etc where there may not be any mains power but are vulnerable to theft. I like that there's an SOS button on the remote - this may prove useful if there's a vulnerable person nearby, but because it isn't linked to any sort of central system or phone then it has its limitations. This is a basic setup for a basic level of security. That's not to say it doesn't have its uses, it most definitely does, but it also has its limitations. It's good to go right out of the box, and anyone with a basic level of competence should be able to set this up in a matter of maybe 30 minutes. At 49.99 (as at 16 April 2024) I think this is a reasonable price to pay for a basic level of security that can be easily installed by most people for that extra piece of mind at an affordable price.

Loud and effective.
I have a six year old great granddaughter who, when she was 3 or 4 managed to open the front door and get out of the house very early one morning. I found her sitting on the footpath bathing one of her dolls in a puddle in the gutter. A heart stopping moment-but luckily with a happy ending. If I’d had these alarms then my heart wouldn’t have been in danger of stopping!I’ve never bothered installing a full house security system. I’ve always been of the opinion that a determined thief will get in anyway and an alarm is an advert that tells the prospective burglar that you have something worth stealing. The back of my house overlooks fields and consequently getting into my garden only involves climbing over a fence, so I’m always vigilant and make sure all points of entry are locked, particularly at night. These alarms add an extra layer of security without going over the top.I have 7 points of entry at the back of my house, the three provided with this kit have secured the ground floor. I found them very easy to fit using the tape provided. They won’t need the screws as the tape holds the sensors in place very securely. The whole setting up process took about 2 minutes. I haven’t found a use for the PIR detector yet. Maybe in GGD’s toy cupboard, that’ll make her think twice about making a mess!Would I recommend this Towode security system? Without a doubt. It works well, the siren is certainly loud enough to alert anyone anywhere in the house, and is just enough for those with problem areas who don’t want a full alarm system.

Complete Set
My review will not list the product details, and features listed in the product description, but will cover the more practical aspect of the product usage. This alarm system comes as a complete set. Each component seems sturdy and made of good quality materials. This is going to be installed in the garage as an additional security measure for our home. There has been a series of security concerns with neighbour’s bikes being stolen which is concerning. What I like about it is that it requires no internet or WiFi for the sensors to connect to the main alarm. The main alarm does require to be plugged in for power. The sensors can be easily installed with screws and it comes as a pair so we have one at the front entrance and one in the back entrance located inside our garage. The purpose for this is to deter and the sound it makes when triggered is enough to do just that.
