Great for dark areas!
I have a few very dark areas in my home. However, these areas don't have lights or outlets, so I needed something that was battery operated or rechargeable. These lights are perfect! They are easy to install and come with all the hardware required. They look amazing, almost like hard wired lighting! They give off a lot of light and can be adjusted as you need. I like that they are rechargeable so that I don't need to worry about batteries. These are great and I would highly recommend them for areas where you need a little extra light. The charge on these lasts a decently long time.

Savior of the Dark
While the concept of these battery-operated wall sconces is undeniably intriguing, the overall value proposition might leave some feeling underwhelmed. The initial price point seems a bit steep considering that they still require wall attachment. However, I devised a clever workaround by adding neodymium magnets and metal plates to enable effortless relocation around the house, suggesting a potential enhancement for the manufacturer to consider.Regarding the claim of saving on electric bills, it's essential to clarify that charging the batteries still consumes electricity, thus potentially misleading. However, where these sconces truly shine is during power outages. In such scenarios, they prove invaluable, providing reliable illumination without interruption. During a recent outage, my spouse and I found ourselves seamlessly enjoying a game of cards in our bedroom, completely oblivious to the power loss until venturing beyond its confines. In essence, while there are some reservations about the pricing and the accuracy of energy-saving claims, the sconces excel in delivering practical utility during unforeseen circumstances or last minute guests, making them a worthy addition to any household's hospitality and emergency preparedness arsenal.

LARGE but nice!
These are very nice sconces. Much larger then anticipated but still work very well in my primary bathroom. They almost remind of something you'd see in a London subway/train station, the gold ones at least. They are very easy to install as well. Please note even though these are "battery operated", there are no batteries involved. The lights themselves are rechargeable via a USB-C cord. This is very environmentally friendly but not super practical if you plan to use the sconces often. I will say $90 does seem a bit high but the quality is definitely there, these do not feel or look cheap by any means!

NOT JUST FOR RENTALS
These simple globe battery sconces are so classy and elegant and give antique almost Gatsby vibes. They would be perfect in a bedroom. So obviously you're considering this battery sconce because either you don't want to pay an electrician, you rent, or you live in an RV or loft. Maybe you want them for your "She Shed".However, there are many situations even in a home you own where getting electrical wiring to certain locations can be very tricky, including high up in a vaulted entryway, for example. That's my scenario. You obviously have some inconveniences with battery operated lights as they won't be as bright and require recharging. But just from the looks you would never know at a glance these aren't real sconces.Tip: you can adhere the little remote to the wall with Velcro or you can designate a pretty little dish or spot where the family knows to return the remote when not in use. Because I have cats I prefer a drawer which works well, too.I also discovered a brilliant idea where you take a nice looking bookcase or hutch and turn it sideways in a bathroom to block the toilet area for privacy, and install a sconce on the end to make it look built-in. I love it so much I'm telling everyone! This also works great as a room divider for an office or library/den or any large room, really. I hear the trend is getting away from the feel of open floorplans and more private spaces. This is one way to do that without completely closing off the area.

Wanted to love but
I really wanted to love these they’re absolutely beautiful so easy to put up and I love the idea of no wires. They look so expensive but the bulbs do not hold a charge long at all. So if you need these for actual sconces/lamps that you use often, I would find something else. If they’re just decorative for lights to use very rarely or not for long periods of time, I think these would be perfect.

Very customizable light
When there is darkness, you want to have light that you can customize based on your mood and preference. You install this like a regular lamp but you do not need to find a near by power point. We use this for a photo wall we have on our stair case where we do not have a plug point. The lighting is great and using the remote we can change the ambience and color to fit our needs. Nice that this product is independent from power dependency and time.

Great Option for Renters
Added these beside the bed in the main bedroom. I’m a renter and I didn’t want, nor could I, run wiring for sconces. These do require attachment to the wall but it’s no more than a couple of screws. I like the remote option, the bulbs charge quickly and last a long time. Recommend.
