These are not for standard US batteries. These adapt a Japanese style battery post (skinny) to work with US terminals. I have been a mechanic for many years and ordered a battery for a Japanese generator. First battery I had ever seen with this size post. The generator had the terminal ends already changed for a US battery. I could not find the original Japanese terminals. These adaptors made it work.

Smaller than I needed. Won't fit a car battery post.

Worked great. The battery clamp was stretched and loose on the ballerty negative pole… so the connection would periodically not be connected and the vehicle would not start. Raise hood twist connection - good until next time. These were too thick and my clamp would not over it but it fit great after I used just half of it.
