Canam X3 Roof Rack 2 Seater

I almost sent it back!! Instructions say "Original" wholes, They do NOT!, They do go in some pre-drilled spots, but not the stock top mount wholes. You'll have to drill 4 wholes in the plastic top and maybe more in the Rack, as the wholes didn't line up on that either. It's built OK I guess, looks pretty good, but definitely not top quality. Knowing what I know now I wouldn't purchase this item. OK! now that I've had it on my X3 and I'm not frustrated with the lack of instructions and I had to drill wholes in the stock top, I like it a little more. Better instructions would be KEY and a few hours to install. The price is good.......

You would think mounting 2 crossmembers with two bolts each, and a rack with 8 bolt would only take an hour or so. That would be the case if there were decent instructions as to what holes to drill, what crossmember goes in front and in what directions does the crossmembers go. If that was the case, I could overlook the poor powder coating. Instructions shown both parts in front of vehicle.

Holes did not line up, had to re drill but overall I am happy with the rack for what I will be using it for. Could use a little better finish work before sent out for powder coat.
