perfect!
I bought this to be the foundation for my Japanese boro stiching. I washed and dried it twice and it is just perfect! Exactly what I wanted! The fabric works so well for layering my boro pieces on top and hand stitching them down. I love this fabric and will order more if I need it. I love it and am so glad I ordered this muslin!! It is nearly impossible to find a high quality muslin at any local store.

Good quality and reasonably priced
This is a better quality muslim then I have purchased off of Amazon before. This is a very nice weight unlike some others. Additionally, the price was much more reasonable than other vendors and one could specify exactly how many yards one wished. Highly recommended.

Use with facial waxing
This whole yard of muslin cost less than a box of precut wax strips. I just cut them myself

Mask up!
I got this muslin for making masks and it was perfect! I would use two layers of this, then one layer of a designed fabric, and it was a perfect thickness. I have read that the CDC recommend, for cloth masks, that when you hold them up to a light, you are unable to see the light shining through. With only the designed fabric, and one layer of this muslin, I can see the source light through it, but once I added one more layer, it blocked out the light perfectly. Of course, this also depends on what designed fabric you are using, but for reference, I was using 100% cotton. So far, I have been able to make at least thirty masks with this one order. It was an amazing deal and I will be purchasing again once I finish my first muslin order.

to heavy and coarse
buying for quilt backing and fabric rough to touch. Tried watching and fabric softener still to heavy and not good for quilt backing. Not sure what you would use this fabric for. I guess the best way to get the correct fabric is to go to fabric store. I have made 5 quilts and never had this problem before. I might make it into dish towels.

It's muslin!
Not much to rave about. It's muslin. It's heavy, wrinkles easily and...it's muslin! You can get it cheaper elsewhere. It did come rather quickly so there's that.
