I've tested and have used this weapon light pretty hard. I can't say enough great things about it. I actually took it off my rifle and put it on my pistol using another's company pistol light body. Their light started smoking and smelled like burning electrical and the light failed. I put this on my beretta and have used it on there since. It's unfair to compare it to any other light. I ran this on an 18350 and it stayed extremely bright and never dimmed at all for over an hour and 15 minutes. The brightness decreased a little bit so I turned the light off. I've used more than 25 pistol lights in my life and this is far brighter and better than any. Maybe that's not really fair. On my rifle the thing was insanely bright and I could see any distance I tried and it was a perfect companion to my lpvo. I just appreciate the fact they have created such a great light for us to use. Don't waste your time with other lights, just buy this one, you definitely will be happy that you did. I truly feel bad that people are spending so much more on less quality. This light is insane 😳

I want to love this product-line. *Build your own bespoke WML in long or short body* Light bezel is sturdy and has a solid beam. I'm not a door kicker so I don't need $400 surefires.... BUUUT.... from one day to the next it stopped working. Swapping batteries hasnt worked either. It's paired with the thumb switch in the rear that also has the port to take a pressure switch cable. It worked intermittently after releasing tightness on the lamp bezel but now nothing works. Trying to get tech support. Duaappoj. Total usage since purchase (feb25) was 10min (light on/off) on ranges, playing at home and set up.

Received this the other day after seeing solid reviews from multiple sources, other than Amazon. It arrived well protected and in excellent condition. The threads were a perfect match for an Arisaka version of the Surefire Scout M600 DF (dual fuel) body. The lamp head set with no wobble. Using two Surefire brand 123A batteries (I recommend a liner sleeve for the dual fuel body when not using an 18650 cell) the lamp produces an extremely bright light exactly as advertised. The spot if extremely tight with long throw but has a considerable corona around the spot to provide excellent illumination at closer distances. The distance the spot is effective is well in excess of 100 meters. I'll have to wait for a range trip to see how well it performs past that. The 65,000 candela should give usable light out to 300 meters when using magnification. If this requires an update after that, I'll try to remember.

Even though on paper this head outputs less candela than my SF M640 DFT head, I’m quite impressed with it. I compared them side by side out in the desert at distances ranging from 50 to a couple hundred yards away. It was very similar in output performance.

I got this to use on a Weltool BB3 tube with a Weltool TC59 tail cap. The body tube takes one 18650 3.7 volt battery. This head installed perfectly on the Weltool body and functioned flawlessly. I took it out at night and compared it against another weapon light that I have. The light I was comparing it to is more of a budget light, but one that I have always considered pretty good quality. At distances over 50 yards, this light drastically outperformed the budget light. I hung a piece of copy paper up and shone both lights at it from the same distance (about 16 inches) and took a picture that I included with this review. As you can see from the picture the spill profile on this light is markedly better than the budget light. The picture doesn't show the focused area of the budget light quite as well as I could see it at the time, but that is because there is not near as much contrast between the focused light and the spill. This makes a huge amount of difference at distances. You can definitely make things out at longer distances with this light over the budget light. The spill is also sufficient to illuminate things on the periphery. I have also included a video comparing these two lights to the most powerful flashlight that I own, a huge flashlight that has a lot of power and adjustable focus. The video is not testing long distances but you can still see the difference between the two weapon lights. In summary, I have never owned a Surefire light so I am not sure how that might compare, but this is definitely the best weapon light that I have ever used. To help understand how I rate items: My philosophy is, that for a rating system to be effective, the highest rating and the lowest rating should be reserved for a relatively small percentage of the best and the worst products. If I give a product four stars, it is because I believe it is a very good product. To get five stars from me requires a product to go above and beyond and really impress me beyond my expectations. By the same token, a product has to be VERY, VERY bad to get only one star from me. One thing that I DON'T take into consideration with my ratings is price. I may make a general statement such as “this is a good value” but it will not affect my star rating. The reason is that product prices change, even from day-to-day. Also what one person may consider a good price someone else might not. I feel it is more important to review the quality and features of a product and let the buyer decide whether the current price is worth it to them. Another thing that I don't take into consideration are issues with shipping. This is because the seller does not always have control over that. Following is each of the five categories of *stars* and how I assign them to a product: ***** Five stars - The product exceeded my expectations. I really love it and would actively suggest it to friends and would certainly purchase it again if needed. **** Four stars - The product met my expectations. It does what it claims to do. I like it and would recommend it to someone if they asked about it. I would Most likely purchase it again if needed . *** Three stars - The product is average and for the most part does what it claims. There may be a few things I don't like about it. If I recommended it to someone, I would state my reservations. I may purchase it again if I could not find a better alternative. ** Two stars - The product fell far short of my expectations. It may, in some respects, do what it claims to do but has far too many problems to overlook. I would never recommended it to someone nor would I ever purchase it again. There is a good possibility I would return it. * One star - The product is terrible. It has way too many cons and few if any pros. I would actively warn my friends away from it and would most likely return it if possible.
