I wanted to replace my old dab radio which had no remote, buttons dodgy and went through AA batteries quickly or I had to roll the jojob out for mains into garden which was a pain.This is perfect as it's removed all that with a rechargeable battery (same connection for charging as mobile) that lasts for ages Including Bluetooth with my ipod. So no wires and no buttons with the remote control which means your hands free to hold the glass of wine!It's also very stylish retro look with a great sound.I noticed some have said battery life was poor. I would say they either got a faulty battery or did they make the same mistake I made first time by connecting ipod or phone via he USB etc as this means it will also charge the ipod or phone which will use too much battery life. So stick with Bluetooth pairing and charge ipods and phones via the mains electric only and the charge then lasts a long time.

I like the retro style and reception is great with the added bonus of a remote control so the radio can be placed out of reach (on a high shelf for example) but still easy to use. It seems to pick up a large range of stations and the txt displays the station and song information (if the station broadcasts it) good memory function and great sound for such a small radio. The built in rechargeable battery is another bonus playing for up to 10 hours if power is not available. I found all the functions easy to use. Overall for me it’s a perfect radio and I would highly recommended it. I don’t think you will be disappointed if you get one.

I use this in the bathroom. It has a decent quality, inbuilt rechargeable battery, so you don't need to plug it into the mains and a usable remote control so you can change channels and adjust your volume when you are in the bath! For optimum battery life set the display to switch off after 10 seconds or so. You can pre set plenty of stations, DAB works well but to recall them takes 2 or 3 presses. You get used to it. Sound quality is ok but only mono from the single speaker. It has blue tooth so maybe your headphones would work in stereo (not tried that yet). You can use it as a blue tooth speaker for your phone as well I believe. I would have given it 5 stars, had it been stereo but when I'm in the bath I mainly listen to news and talk radio so that's fine for now. Well done, Amazon. Nice product.

Looks great,but setting the alarm was fiddly. It was difficult to get sleep on and the instructions were confusing...also the clock was not big enough to see at night without my glasses. The Bluetooth was very patchy and went up and down. Would not buy again.

I adored my radio right up until the time it just stopped working one day out of the blue. Very disappointed as seller told me to send back at great expense to me and no promise of diagnostic investigation. Cannot afford to return without guarantee of mending.Supposed to be under warranty! Frustrated and sad at seller's response.

This radio is OK,But I complained to Amazon, the remote control was missing, they told me to contact their supplier, I refused, I bought this radio in good faith from Amazon.Therfore Amazon should contact their supplier on my behalf,But it seems Amazon just can't be bothered,

We bought this to use in our caravan , nice compact size , easy to set up , very good sound considering it only has a single speaker , remote control works a treat , reception very good , we were running off electric so can’t comment on the battery use , it’s good looking too , looks more expensive than it was , overall we are very pleased with it !
