Fantastic bit of kit.
The saw itself was easy to set up, the stand was a bit of hassle as the instructions are not particularly clear, it was too easy to bolt things on 180° out. Once up and running it it fantastic, accurate, quiet easy to use. I wished I had bought one years ago.

Brilliant saw and great value
Brilliant- especially for a novice like me. Great functionality as indicated on all the YouTube reviews. Once dialled in, it gives reliable and accurate cuts…only criticism is the mitre guide which works but is flimsy….upgrade that and you’ll be very happy.

Excellent Saw
Purchased this saw with the stand, assembly is challenging as instructions are not great, easier to simply look at the photo on the box. Saw is everything I had hoped for, so many functions and clever design features, its a definite keeper. Improvements - two things if evolution ever read reviews like this: 1. Power cable is awful quality, stiff and plastically and it detracts from a really good product. 2. Once assembled, the frame does not easily get through doors to allow easy movement.

Portable table saw
Great bit of kit. Although a bit of an investment, there is a couple of chaper versions availble, it does the job well so far. Very portable because it folds up and does not take too much space.

Good saw but I'm not entirely converted yet.
I needed a cost-effective saw for outdoor working so I bagged the saw (R255TBLX+ version) and stand package during a sale. I can’t complain about the price but I must be honest I’m not entirely convinced this saw is for me. I’ve had Evolution equipment before now and it fills a purpose of equipment that works to a price point – nothing wrong with that and I’m glad they are in that space however this saw is competing against so many contenders and I’m not sure it holds its own. I know every person and their dog seems to rave on about this saw but I found the blade raise and lower mechanism just way too agricultural for use – it sticks when lowering and then drops half an inch which is not what I’d expect in a table saw, even a job site saw. The mitre gauge is really cheap and whilst I know they all are on job site saws, it would be nice for someone to buck that trend for once or at least offer the saw without one or offer a better version as an upgrade. The sliding table part is not for me, I now wish I’d gone with a saw with a fixed table and two fixed runners. Overall I may be won over when I start to use it but for now, I’m just not convinced. I wasn’t expecting Mafell or Festool, just a little more refined than it is but then, as above everyone seems to love this saw, maybe I have a dud or maybe my expectations are way out of whack. I will give it a chance and report back.

Amazing value for money.
The item is very well packed with the table facing down, on very substantial cardboard, reducing frame damage. The stand was packed on top of the frame, again on card with dedicated slots for the tubes. Fairly easy to set up, but I did need to adjust the Riving knife as not set to the blade, the removable saw blade plate was bent and and too low, fairly easy to correct and get flat. Could not set the tilt at both stops to the degree setting 45, when you have zero set 90 and set the indicator, plus the blade also needed adjustment both ends, again, fairly easy. Everything else was spot on. Shame there is no feet on the bar that rests on the floor, but I used a 40mm length pumping pipe, to clip over it. A shame it does not come with the dust out for a bin, piped setup is a bit cumbersome going to the blade extraction. End support is a bit flimsy compared to the rest of the quality.

Best of the Best
Best saw I have bought loads of good features well engineered and the stand makes it so easy to move around good dust extraction I highly recommend this product Noise level better than some other reviewers said, and accuracy of the cut is spot on

impressive budget table saw for the price dewalt just lost a sale LOL am so pleased about that!
Though its early days and I have only used it to cut four small pieces of wood so far but am loving what I've seen!. one of the rail guilds arrived bent so the rotary lever was stiff and grinding had to take it off and bend it so it cleared but apart from that am really happy with it. its big but can't complain as I was already informed of its size on YouTube I can't wait to put it to real work my only concern is there is allot of plastic parts just wonder how long they will last but again I suppose it reflects the price hopefully Evolution are not two faced greedy idiots and supply parts at a reasonable cost as their plastic might even look into 3d printing I think that’s a great way to replace parts on this happy I chose this over a Dewalt which are seriously over priced they may be good but they never come at any kind of reasonable cost this one comes with all the bells and whistles even a trolley which would cost an arm and a leg with Dewalt :\ their costs are making me shop else where now. if you don't want the trolly or the vac hose this is seriously cheap and bang for bucks table saw you won't get better. just hope quality and durability stand the test of time.
