G.I. Joe Classified Series Retro Cardback Beach Head, Collectible 6-Inch Action Figure with 10 Accessories

I want to start by saying that the G.I Joe Classified team is doing WAY better than a few years ago. QC has improved greatly and I'm gonna go as far to say that the QC on Classified is the best amongst Hasbro's other action figure brands. Beachhead looks great and very much like his original retro design. The joints also move a lot better now than before, I didn't have to heat this figure up at all to articulate and pose him. The face printing and paint apps have improved drastically and his weapons aren't super "rubbery" (still a bit soft though). The only minor nitpick about this figure is his green weapons. They would have looked much better in grey. Also, not Hasbro's fault at all, but Amazon sent me one that had what looked like a piece of wrapping paper as if someone had gift wrapped it. Luckily the figure was unopened and I'm an out of box collector. An in box collector would have been quite frustrated by this. Aside from that, this is a must have figure if you are a Classified collector.

These card backs are so cool when they show up in good condition. The figure is very similar to other rendition's but just a bit tighter. I don’t mind the accessories color variations and I think they improved the figure from the other non card back releases. Good quality packaging, great looking figure and nice attention to details.

We got this for my son for Christmas since he’s obsessed with stuff like this. He likes it a lot, but the small pieces are so hard with young kids haha I’m pretty sure alll of that is lost at some his point, but that’s on my kids haha definitely wouldn’t be the case with old kids

This is the version of Beachhead everyone wanted in the first place. I am glad Hasbro has started the retro line with the Classified scale figures. The colors on this Beachhead are straight from the original figure line. Again, that is what is Joe fans wanted from this line in the first place. I dig the Classified line, and the modernization isn’t terrible, but give me that 80s throwback goodness any day of the week!

Nice action figure to buy from Amazon. G.I. Joe classified are very hard to find on the store shelves. Just check out your Amazon account and order or pre-order and never have to be hunting at stores again for these action figures. Arrives at your house on the same release date, it would come out on the store shelves.
