Loupes 2.5X 3.5X Magnification Binocular Magnifier Optical Glass Lens (2.5X, Black)

OK, but I’m really not convinced about the claimed levels of magnification. Rather heavy for prolonged use with a weight imbalance of lenses in front of glasses frame.

I have been a dental hygienist for over 24 years and I’ve tried so many loupes that I don’t want to add up how much I’ve paid over the years. I own a lot of the top name brands: D3signs 4 Vision, Or@scoptic, Q-Opt1cs, Lum@dent, etc… but they all ended up breaking. The name brand TTL loupes break off and need to be glued back on but they’re never the same as day one, the frames that are made from plastic all end up breaking from putting them on and removing them over and over again. I can’t justify paying $1000s on another pair of loupes when I’ll end up being disappointed again. I have been using these loupes every day for 4 months and they are still going strong. The plastic is sturdy and made of the same quality material as the brand names. The loupes themselves are clear and crisp allowing me to see all of the fine details. I have been able to help the boss diagnose decay that would’ve been impossible to see with poor quality loupes ie: under crown margins and interproximal surfaces. The loupes are easy to adjust and it’s easy to attach your light to the frame. These are great for everyday use or as a backup while yours are being repaired (that’s how I found these in the first place). FYI- I tried another brand of loupes on Amazon, but their plastic frames are thin and weak and the arm broke off after 2 weeks (think dollar store toy that your kid breaks in the car on the way home). These on the other hand are strong and sturdy! Well worth $30!
