Best liquid cooler used
Excellent built quality! Installation is very easy. Metal fans are stunning! Strong and low noice! With the ASUS software, the fans can be individually tested and stopped. I am using AMD9950X3D. With CPU tested to 100%, the water pump barely reaches 100% and temperature remains less than 80 degC. Although a bit expensive, it is a very good, rigid and reliable liquid cooler.

Great cooler!
I'm running this with a Ryzen 9950X on a Asus Pro Art motherboard and it's been stellar. The temps stay stable, the fans kick on only under the heaviest of use, and then quickly spin back down. No annoying RBG lights, just quiet performance. Installed very easily in my case that is set up for 360mm radiators.

Solid AIO for your ProArt build
Thermals are great with my 9800x3d, never above 60 degrees. No noticeable pump sounds (been a few months). Complements ProArt x870e and PA602 case very well. I would really only suggest this cooler if you had other ProArt components in your build. Otherwise, I’d just go with a cheaper AIO. I did swap out the 3 noctua 140mm industrial fans with 3 Noctua A14 140 PWMs fans. Not necessary, just wanted to min/max fan noise. But if you were wondering how easy they are to swap out, I had no issues. One suggestion. This product was not showing up on the newest version of Asus Armoury Crate. I believe it was recently updated at the time and I read stories online of how Armoury Crate is a mess after an update. If it doesn’t show up for you, download the previous version of Armoury Crate. That’s what worked for me.

Does it's job just fine.
So, I've been using the ASUS ProArt LC 420 AIO cooler with my i9 14900K, and it’s been rock solid. Even when I'm pushing the system hard with video rendering and gaming, the temps stay well under control—rarely going over 85°C. One thing I like is that it doesn’t go overboard on flashy nonsense. It’s just a clean, all-black cooler that fits in with my build. No RGB, no distractions—just does its job quietly in the background. Speaking of quiet, it’s impressively low-noise most of the time. It ramps up a bit when the system’s under load, but it’s still quieter than a lot of other coolers I’ve used before. Installation was pretty straightforward, though you’ll want to make sure you’ve got a big enough case since it’s a 420mm radiator. If you’ve got the room, it’s no hassle at all. All in all, it’s a no-nonsense cooler that handles the heat of a 14900K really well. If you’re after reliable cooling without all the RGB craziness, I’d say give it a shot. It just works, and that’s exactly what I need it to do

Excellent AIO choice to pair with my Pro Art case.
Excellent AIO to pair with my Pro Art case. I love the triple 140mm sized fans while the CPU temps remain low and stable. The price could be a bit better but overall I'm very pleased with the purchase so far.

Thumbs up
My recommendation would be to get the proart x870e-creator motherboard and pro art case that come with it. Absolute monster of a cooling machine.

2 out of 3 fans were defective - tech support would not replace them
Product came with 2 of the 3 fans defective. They make a mechanical whirring sound that is the loudest noise in the room. One of the 3 fan is working fine. Upon contacting Asus to ask for the 2 fans to be replaced they told me to return the entire water cooler to Amazon and get a replacement. I said I didn't want to because I would have to buy new thermal paste and have the computer system down while waiting. I was then told I would have to send Asus the whole water cooler. They would not replace just the 2 fans that are defective. I've been building computers for 25 years and have had to do returns once in a while. I've never had to return an entire item like this where the defective parts are easily separated AND actually come separated (you have to assemble it yourself). The product itself keeps the CPU cool. I wish the tubes were about 6" longer, but most AIO water coolers have the same length. If I return the whole water cooler I would have to buy new thermal paste and not use the computer until a replacement was received. I paid a LOT of money for this water cooler. I expected a LOT more from tech support for such a high end item.

Works well. Understated lighting (a simple, single colour light scale). Would be nice if you could change the colour however but there's no option to do that.

Where to begin? First of all this Pro-Art badged cooler will not fit into ASUS' largest ProArt PA602 case. It has the LC 420 label but it's really a 450. See picture 2 for how the hoses are bent by the depth of the top front fan. The radiator tray will not sit flush with the case because the hoses are pushed right up against the fan. Also, the depth of the three top fans push down on the cable shroud, so, you have to remove that as well (pic 5). Colossal design failure not to mention possible deceitful marketing. The case says it will take a 420mm radiator, ASUS' own naming convention makes it appear the LC-420 is a 420mm radiator, dig deeper into the specs and it's really 450 with the addition of the hoses. I know the 420 is 140mm x 3 fan size but still... Customer service is a farce. Constant re-routing to different departments, then ASUS has problems with their internet and I get disconnected from the technician and have to start from the beginning again. Two hours online trying to resolve this and am still waiting for an escalation manager to phone me back. I've been as ASUS loyalist until now.
