This is a question better suited for Google but ok. Self-rising flour should only be used when a recipe calls for self-rising flour because salt and baking powder (which is a leavening agent) have been added and distributed evenly through the flour.

Q: Is bleached or unbleached flour best for biscuits?

Most flour is bleached and White Lily makes the best biscuits! It is bleached but made from Winter wheat and is a much finer flour. I hope this answers your question.
