Love that the thing comes basically fully assembled, had to pop the wheels on of course and stick the arm into the sockets (the part you actually hold while pushing) instructions are seriously simple a child could do it (provided you let them play with Legos occasionally) my fam has used this since the beginning of the summer for '24 and it's worked like a charm, it's a good amount of horse power and surprisingly easy to maneuver with the back wheel drive (feels a little funny the first time using it because it almost speeds away from you but it's really not too much to control, myself being taller it goes smoothly with my pacing and my dad being closer to average height neither of us had issues) not to mention it's a solid red colour and the appearance is about what you'd expect for a good quality mower. I anticipate getting at least 15 years out of the thing with being kept indoors when not in use (garage space or shed) would recommend if you aren't interested in getting an electric mower this one will def get the job done.

Our 14 year old mower wouldn't start so it was dropped off to get repaired. I said: get a new one. He said: no it can be fixed. Me: it plows, not mows. He: we don't need a new one. Move ahead to six weeks later and no repaired mower yet. Grass was actually a foot tall. I shopped for mowers and bought this one. Arrived today. Easy to unfold and set up. He just finished mowing, in record time. To quote my husband: "this is the best mower I've ever owned. It's so light weight, started right up, well made,and cut through the long grass like nothing." He did not complain about any aspect of its design, including the grass catcher bag. And that was cutting a tall, tall, lawn. I'm looking forward to a mowed, not plowed yard this summer. Highly recommend.

Purchase this mower last June. At first, it worked fine but then little things started not working. The blade is operated by a belt. Over time this belt doesn't grab very well. Also, the housing around the belt fell apart. Now, the entire mower does not run. Changed oil, replaced spark plug and filters and still nothing. I cannot recommend this mower to anyone.

This mower is easy to assemble as it comes packaged, with simple steps to follow to raise the handle, fill with fluids and make usable. It was easy to set the clips in place, add the side discharge chute, and start the mower. It started on the first pull. The only concern I have is that it's mostly plastic. It's a lot to pay for a mower made of plastic. It mows well but may need an adjustment to the speed of the self-propelled cable to slow it down a bit.

Comes with oil, attach handle, put in gas and your good to go. Works great. Don't pull backwards it breaks the safety cover. Check screws regularly as the wiggle loose. Mower works great.

Needed to replace my old Snapper self-propelled, self-starting mower. It's still running fine but getting a bit old so wanted to have my next mower in case it "dies" on me. I couldn't find a self-starting PowerSmart or any other so I opted for the PS 21". It arrived in good condition but was missing the "Gas Cap" I was able to get one from PS but it did seem to take much longer than I would have expected. When I was finally able to get the mower ready for it's first session I was amazed that it started on the "first" pull! Amazing I thought that was pretty cool. Now on subsequent sessions it has taken many more pulls to start so not sure why that would be the case. It is "self-propelled" but I can see no way to adjust the "speed" of the mower when self-propel is activated. I tend to walk fast so I really have to slow my gate when I'm in self-propelled mode. It seems to be either ON or Off in self-propel mode I do like the fact that the PS is lite in weight so it's easy to pull back and forth when not it self-propel mode. Overall it's an OK mower I really wish I could regulate the "self-propelled" speed, I hope the engine gets broken-in so fewer pulls are necessary.

This is a beautiful lawnmower, lighter weight, easy to handle with an old-fashioned, strong Briggs and Stratton engine! I think I am in love. Height adjustment, speed, cut quality.
