Duck Brand Glitter Crafting Tape, 1.88-Inch x 5-Yard Roll, Aqua (282491)

I needed this to decorate something, and I didn’t want to use washi tape. So I turned to this and I am so glad I went with this! It was exactly what I needed for my project, being durable, the adhesive is really good and it’s so sparkly!

I bought 3 different colors of this Duck tape to create decorative headers on my face shields! It's just the right width, pulls from the roll, and applies with ease. It didn't tangle when pulled out long. Easily secured in place, it covered the word "face shield" with a band of decorative sparkle. Note the tape is a bit sheer, so two coats of tape covers the words underneath better. (The black sparkle was adequate with one coat.)

I needed this tape for a craft my son had to do for school, but I have used it for so much more. Love that it is glitter and actually tapes anything very well. I will be buying more in several colors.

Positives- It truly is pretty tape and the glitter does not flake off in any way, shape, or form... which is great.Negatives (I guess there was only one positive) - I used this to trim the inside edge of a Polaroid photobooth prop made from foam board. Within a few hours, it was already peeling up. I had to go in with super glue and hot glue to get it to stay down. I was not expecting duct tape quality of stick since this is NOT duct tape, but craft tape... However, the word tape does still imply it should be capable of some level of binding or adhesion. Simply not the case.I was NOT disappointed like other reviews in the amount of tape, since it states how much tape is on the roll in the listing / description. Is it as much as other rolls of duck tape brand products? No. But does it claim that? No.It IS overpriced - in my opinion - since it does not stick at all though.

I gave this 4 stars over all bc it did what I needed it to do. After reading through the reviews I was skeptical to purchase but did anyway. It's exactly what the reviews say. It works for what I need it for. BUT it is not very sticky, I had to line the edges with packing tape to keep it down. It does glitter but is see through so if you are looking for a solid glitter tape this is not it. I recommend for crafts that don't need to last long. I made a photo booth frame for a baby shower with it and it came out lovely, just what I needed. Long term use isn't recommended.

The quality of this glitter tape is amazing - I just wish you got more on the roll... even at a higher price. It’s such a waste of plastic and cardboard tube when you have to buy 4 rolls for any decent project. The glitter does NOT come off all over everything - which is amazing. It’s easy to adjust when placing it (if you do it quickly), but then stays in place well.
