Arguably the best coffee "car" mug we've ever had, BUT... You 100% cannot dissemble lid to clean. You can't clean lid whatsoever because of the design, as good as it is, it's factory sealed and you cannot take it apart to clean. Zero. Zip. Don't even waste your time, I already did that for you. Got wife this commuter cup almost 3 years ago, used 5 days a week ever since. Lid finally went south, started acting and sounding like a suction valve when you close, it'd take maybe half a second to fully close. Was going to throw away today and thought what the hell, it's trash so I'll boil it to loosen 3 years worth of coffee crud. I'll spare you the description on what came out after 3 rounds of boiling. And yes, total misuse of product so don't boil it. Thing crisply snaps shut now like it was Xmas morning 2022. You can still buy the replacement lid for 9.99 on their site, or you can experiment. All that said... Corkcicle's are hands down the best "car" coffee mug we've ever purchased. And trust me I'm old, we used to drive around with coffee mugs sans lids, Google didn't exist, neither did Apple.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I LOVE this travel mug. I have lots of travel mugs like everyone else but this is my go to. I love the push top. I've dumped it over many times and it never spills. It doesn't matter which way I pick it up, I can drink from any side. It keeps my drink warm or cold for hours. Highly recommend!

I really like the design of this mug. I have nothing negative to say about its form, functionality, or design. However, the one big drawback is that I can’t take the top apart to clean it. After a few months of using it I had a lot of coffee build-up on the inside. Sadly, I couldn’t take the top apart to clean it, and neither the dishwasher nor hand-washing worked. In order to clean it, I had to resort to boiling it, which wasn’t ideal. Even though I had to take such extreme measures, I’m still in love with the mug.

This is the best commuter cup I’ve owned. It checks all my boxes for size, shape, ease of use, and does not leak. Fits my car cup holder well. Corkcicle makes great products, I like them as much as my Yetis.

This cup is awesome! The spill proof lid is amazing. No spills, can drink from any angle, and easy to open and close. Easy to grip on the outside during to the two flattened sides and soft textured finish. Easy to clean and keeps drinks warm for long periods. I love this cup! I will buy more when this one wears out... if it ever does!! It is more expensive than others, true.. but it is well worth it!!

Seems I'm the odd person out but I feel as soon as I pour scalding hot coffee into the mug it starts a rapid cooldown. I fix the top as quick as I can but by the time I walk from my kitchen out my front door into my car the coffee is cooler than if I had poured it into an open mug and carried it to the car to finish. Real Bummer cuz it looks sharp and the lid is interesting. I really only use travel mugs for hot drinks so this one definitely does not live up to expectation.

Love these as they are ceramic lined and quiet with the silicone bottom.... was uncertain of top but it's all good..also liked the price...about half of that if you ordered thru Corkcicle
