Kitchen measuring scale
I’m pretty happy with this scale. It’s manual and easy to use. Seems to be accurate but then again I don’t have another scale to compare it to.

Great addition to our kitchen!
This scale as been amazing to use in our kitchen, as I'm finding more and more recipes that I use go by the measurements on this scale rather than the digital scale I have. This is so easy to use and easy to read it's almost fool proof! Love the bowl that comes with it as well as it has come in handy many times for many different ingredients and recipes and not to mention the whole set up looks nice on my kitchen counter! I would definitely recommend.

Works but could be more precise, sturdier
I'm giving this 3 stars which to me generally means that the item works but doesn't stand out from its competition and I wouldn't necessarily recommend this item over other similar items. If the price is right for you, though, and you don't mind the item's potential issues, it's not a particularly bad purchase either. First, I'd like to say that precise readings are not as easy as they could be. You need your eyes to be at the level of the needle to read it to the ounce. If it's on the countertop and you're standing above it, you may misread it by an ounce or two. This is a very lightweight scale. I'm not sure how it would hold up if I dropped it. The almost flimsy construction also means that I had a hard time getting good readings on this scale. The platform is a bit wobbly and if you put something on it that's not centered, you change the reading. By moving a can of food around the platform, I got readings varying from 1 lb, 8 oz to 1 lb, 10 oz. Granted, I was moving the can all the way from side to side and you should be centering whatever you're weighing. If you're not weighing a solid or a powder like flour, you may change the weight slightly if you are not carefully centering things. In general, I've only been able to move the dial a couple of ounces when things are uncentered so if you don't mind a rough measurement, that might not be a problem. I weighed a variety of things multiple times and had a hard time reproducing the readings.Sometimes it was spot on and other times it seemed slightly off. In the end, the only thing I can conclude is that it does work to weight things to within a couple of ounces, but if you want a weight down to the ounce, you're better off with another scale.

Consistent readings.
I like old school gadgets, so this Tada 11lb Analog Food Scale is great for those who don't like using a digital scale (especially when those digital ones are supposed to be accurate to within decimal places, yet give you different readings even when placing the exact same object on the scale multiple times). Just remember to take out little cardboard piece underneath this analog scale before use, calibrate it to zero using the knob (clockwise to turn the hand back; counterclockwise to go forward), and you'll get surprisingly consistent & accurate measurements. I tested it by adding just the included bowl first, over & over again. Then I weighed a couple other items repeatedly to see if I always got the same weight as well. After that, I added up the assorted items' weights & weighed them all together. And, yes, they all added up to the anticipated total. It also gave the reading expected when I removed one item at a time.Since you can manually control the reset to zero, this scale does allow a Tare function. And while the kitchen counter profile of this is bigger vertically than a digital scale, if you like kind of a vintage vibe, it fits well with that. The included measuring bowl (with handle & pour spout) has markings just in Metric (l/mL), while the scale itself has both lb/oz & kg/g.

so tradtional
This traditional kitchen scale is pretty accurate with measurements and is also simple to use. The measurements are easy to read with the large numbers and the long dial. This scale doesn’t use batteries so no need to look for batteries as it’s always working. The scale has a stable base which provided accurate measurements without items falling off the scale. The included measuring cup make it easy to weigh liquids or fine powder. It’s neat to see an analog scale in today’s world that weighs accurately as everything is digital now days.

Works Great!
I have a couple of digital scales, but I've always loved the novelty of old fashioned scales like this, and it's handy to have as a backup if my others glitch out.It looks just like the product photos and works exactly as I expected. The numbers are large and clearly labeled, so reading it is very easy. It displays pounds and ounces straight out, but also provides the conversions for kilograms and grams. To reset to zero, there's a little piece you twist manually like a clock, which is neat. It also feels high quality in terms of build. The measuring cup is nice and big. It's made of a lightweight plastic, so it doesn't over stress the scale, but can hold a decent volume. It will definitely come in handy and it's convenient that it's included, since my other measuring cups are heavier glass.Overall, it doesn't disappoint! Highly recommend!

Well made should last
Wanted the scales to weigh joints of meat prior to cooking in air fryer as a lot of cook books dont give times for air frying/Roasting joints alone only fancy recipes & no air fryer times on the packs of meat only times for conventional ovens.
