It’s easy to use. Reads microchips really well. Has come in very handy!

Don’t waste your money on the expensive one that’s over $100! It is NOT as described when I bought it. This is a cheap $30 one that cannot read anything but 15 digit microchips on one frequency. When I bought it, it said it could read anything except AVID 9 digit codes but it cannot. Immediately returning this because it’s a rip off.

The website says this will read both 10 and 15 digit codes. I tried in out and it's 10 digits only. The directions for the 190X also say 10 digits in three locations (see pictures) and don't mention 15 digit chips at all. If there is some way to get it to read 15 digit chips, I couldn't figure it out. I tried on two different dogs with HomeAgain chips which are 15 digits.

After trying several platforms it has been realized that there is no app or communication software to communicate via Apple, android, or p.c. The scanner does scan and display an rfid tag but that is all. My particular unit was unpackaged showing scratches and smudges on the screen. (Not brand new).
