Diving into the Depths of Youth with Codeage Marine Collagen
As a 43-year-old bloke who's recently been noticing that his face in the mirror is looking more like a roadmap of London than the fresh-faced chap of his youth, I thought it was high time to give this Codeage Marine Collagen Powder a whirl. With a small baby at home, sleep is as rare as a sunny day in November, so anything promising a bit of rejuvenation is worth a shot, right? First off, the fact that it's hydrolyzed fish collagen peptides had me a tad worried. I had visions of my morning cuppa tasting like I'd stirred it with yesterday's kipper. Pleasantly surprised, I was. No fishy aftertaste to wage war on my taste buds – it's virtually flavourless, blending seamlessly into my tea or porridge. Now, onto the effects. It's been a bit of a journey, not unlike trying to navigate through central London without ending up at a dead end. After a few weeks of consistent use, the missus remarked that my skin was looking a bit less 'weathered' and more like it did when we first met. Not sure if that's the collagen or the lack of pub nights. Additionally, my joints are feeling less creaky when I'm lugging around the baby or our overly enthusiastic Labrador (though, remember, this isn't for the dog!). Pros: No taste of the sea to ruin your morning brew. Seems to iron out a few creases on the old visage. Joints feeling a tad more oiled up, making baby and pet wrangling easier. Cons: It's a bit of a punt on your wallet, not exactly cheap as chips. Requires the patience of a saint (or at least someone used to British public transport delays) to start seeing results. In short, if you're looking to possibly turn back the clock a bit or just want your knees to stop sounding like a door in a haunted house, giving Codeage Marine Collagen Powder a go might not be a bad shout. Just don't expect overnight miracles – it's more slow and steady wins the race.

Nice long scoop, does not taste bad.
Product is as stated, the scoop is nice and long as well, and doesn't taste bad like some of them do. I use all types of collagen for joints, bones, tendons, muscles mainly, but can help also hair, skin and nails. Does help over time, may vary for some I roughly notice differences between 1-3 months. Without collagen my bones and muscles ache all over, to test this out I stopped taking collagen for 2 years, I started feeling pains after 1 year, and pains went away when i went back on collagen. As I'm getting older now my body doesn't make collagen from protein sources like it used to, so taking it directly has noticeable benefits, when your young I would say you may not notice this if your eating your healthy protein meals per day so this would be a waste of money for anyone under 40 in my opinion, but everyone is different, so this may even help you even below 30. I don't like the price for collagen this shouldn't cost 60 quid unless it comes in 1kg size. That's the only issue I found with it. I usually have this with my pre-workout, or amino acids, but sometimes I like putting it in my food like soup, yoghurt. Doesn't taste of anything and I'm happy with it, just wouldn't buy it again if it cost 60 quid sorry. Good product poor value.

MINIMAL taste!
Having spent a lot of money on marine collagen capsules in the past, I was very excited to get my hands on this large tube of collagen powder. It comes with a sensible, long-handed spoon for accessing the powder and clear instructions to take one scoop per day. I have just taken it for the first time, with black coffee, and although the taste is extremely minimal, I found it took the edge off the bitter coffee my husband favours. I suspect I will need to take the entire supply (claimed to be a 'generous' 50-days) before seeing any results, but as i know ingestible powder is the best route to gaining collagen's benefits, I am sure - with this product's 'clean contents' - that I will be looking in the mirror before too long and seeing improvements in my skin. In the meanwhile, i am delighted with the ease of use and teeny-tiny taste of this product. If results do not pan out as I suspect they will, a revised review will follow. But with this product's pleasing credentials, I'm sure that won't be the case. At its price point, this is a premium product - but having wasted money on cheaper and inferior products in the past, you should be getting what you pay for. I hope this helps.

Great product
This is quality Collage as far as I can tell, comes in a decent tub with a scoop for daily doses. It dissolves best in a warmer drink, so I tend to add it to my coffee when it's cooled down a little, it doesn't really effect the taste and it's an easy way to consume it. A little strange that it's derived from Fish, but I don't know what I was expecting collagen to be, so it's clearly not vegan friendly. Noticed a slight improvement to muscle recovery as well as other parts on the inside and out of my body, skin seeming to have a slight improvement, although if you don't shed your skin cells, there will still be a build up of old dead skin cells so it's important to scrub down properly. I wouldn't run to buy this, but after hearing about the huge range of potential health benefits, it was worth a try and I'd say it's genuinely made a difference, if you can afford it's worth giving a go to see how it effects you with it's potential large range of positive body recovery. For me personally, it's helped with joints, muscle, skin and maybe gut health too.
