Compared to the other cherry-flavored coffees I've tried, this one has a less of a "fake" or "chemical-y" taste to it. I have yet to find a cherry-flavored coffee that actually tastes like "real" cherries though, and I doubt that will ever happen! It's a bit sweeter than others, which I assume is why it is called "cherry cheesecake" and not just "cherry", but it's not 'sickening sweet', IMO anyhow. No unpleasant aftertaste. Brews up nicely in my Mr Coffee 4-cup. Not bitter or too strong. Nice aroma both in the bag and while brewing. The coffee itself was very fresh with an expiration date still several months away. It's a reasonable value, although at just about a dollar an ounce it pushes the limits of what I would consider a "good price". Still, it is cheaper than many other brands. Overall, I would recommend this and will probably try other flavors from this same brand. 4.5 stars. Rounded up to 5 for the sake of argument.

Been looking for a just peppermint coffee for years every since the coffee company that made it went under. Can't stand the ones with chocolate/ mocha in it. This is just pure coffee and peppermint bliss!

I bought this for my mother for Mother’s Day. She said she liked it, but it is very sweet so you might have to mix it with regular coffee!

It’s not bad. Like many other berry flavored coffee it tastes very artificial, but it still tastes nice.

Best peppermint coffee out there it’s so hard to find peppermint without mocha. This is your best shot it’s delicious the taste is good I also use peppermint creamer with it

The taste is somewhat bitter. If there's peppermint in this coffee, it's masked by that bitterness. There's little to no peppermint in the aroma either. I won't be buying this again. Added quibble: whoever designed the package has never brewed a pot of coffee in their life. The package is laughably narrow, so much so that it's not physically possible to get an actual spoonful of coffee out of it. Most of the coffee will be scraped off of the spoon by the narrow passage. You'll need a proper container to transfer the coffee to as soon as you open it for the first time.
