I pick up my granddaughter 2 times a week, so I needed a shade that I could put up only when she needs it. She is 3 so of course when the sun isn't shining right on her she wants to look out at the sights during our ride home. This shade is easy to put in and easy to take out or just roll up so she can see out the window. It keeps her out of the hot sun when its shining on her side of the truck. All in all I have no complaints about this product. It was a great price, it does the job and there where two so I passed one on to my son to use in his truck.

I got 2 sets of these so my wife and I could have them in our respective cars, and they worked well until the first (or maybe second) hot day of the summer, when the little velcro strip that keeps the shade drawn just got all melty and wouldn't stick any more. Now they're useless, and we had to chuck them. The design is a decent idea if they just replace the velcro with a snap or something--but in its current form, this is a pretty useless product.

I chose this particular shade because my 5yo would be able to pull it up/down as needed for an upcoming road trip. The quality is terrible. I was able to get the suction cups to stick to the window but as soon as I started driving the shade fell down... That could be very dangerous if you have a baby in the seat!!! Also, the shade came with a velcro tab so that when the shade is down you can affix it to the window/door and it won't bang around... However the adhesive on the back of the velcro tab also does not stick to anything. Absolutely, totally, utterly useless.

Great idea, and would be worth every penny, if only the included suction cups would adhere to the window. They hold for about 12 seconds then let go. I even took one and stuck it onto my bathroom mirror without anything attached to it, and it only held for about 30 seconds. There are instructions on how to reform them if they arrive deformed (which they do), and that worked great. Only problem is, it didn't help getting them to stick any better than when they were deformed.

They were great for a little while. But. Dont let yourself or your little one pull on it at all. Will pull the screen out. It really doesnt have any extra screen. I put my hand up a little too far and it pulled the screen right out. No way to fix it. But. When i had it installed. It did block a good amt of sun. My baby girl hates the bright sun. So, i took it from the other side cuz our son likes to look out.

Very nice product - well made and easy to install. I bought these for my Greyhound to be protected during car rides to the walking park. Two of my suction cups failed after a year (prob due to seasonal temp changes) and the seller replaced both shades at no charge. Excellent customer service and communication. I know these are meant for a car, but I use one in my small bathroom window to block the light. These don't really block much light. I would say it's still about 90% as bright with these. They also fall down every 2 weeks or so. I guess you get what you pay for

i rigged these up in front of my aerogarden LED hydroponic grow stations that sit in a bookcase in my living room to dim the light & especially glare a bit spilling into the room during the evening while they are on. it took a little bit if engineering to get it just right, but now I can roll them up to work on the plants & roll them down to dim the light. i only wish that they were even darker shades, but they work well
