This battery fits, it charges, it installs easily, it works great, and that's the important part. Obviously I can't comment on battery life as it's going to hopefully be some time until it dies.The plastic color is slightly different than the OEM one as you can see in this photo (oem has a serial number sticker), and i'm not convinced the included filters have the same fit/quality as the OEM, but they seem "good enough" for a vacuum in my garage and they work fine. For the price, i'll be happy if the battery lives a year or two considering the OEM battery is $95!

Just received this and so far so good! It came in with what was said on the photo and description. I have a V8 model and Installation was extremely easy. It was pre charged and we tried it until it died and it was working extremely well. Quality seems pretty okay, compared to the dyson original products.First off the battery is slightly different. Obviously the mah is more than the original dyson battery. The only difference is the handle that goes inside is a bit skinnier, but otherwise no major difference. Filters look a bit lower quality but other wise it’s been solid!The original models for all in photos: battery is the light grey, twist filter is the sheer on, and the star as well. So you can tell the difference with the old and new.I hope it holds up and will get an update review few months in!!

I didn't feel comfortable buying a no-name version of the battery for our expensive vacuum at first. But I'm glad I got this one because we will get a second battery pack on top of this one, too. We have a huge home, and we often don't finish cleaning the place when the batteries die. This one hold the power great, charges the same way, and lasts too. I wonder whether it's manufactured in the same factory, but they don't just place a logo on it?

Super easy five minute replacement of the battery, the running time of the Dyson vacuum is greatly improved! I was impressed how long I can use the vacuum now and the battery has never died before I was finished vacuuming! Replacing the weak original battery took just a few minutes and was very simple with only a couple screws to remove and instructions included. It was also nice to have new filters to replace old air filters, the quality seems very good and it was compatible with my V7 Absolute!
