Excellent laptop. It came safely wrapped. Looks/operates like new. I see zero distinction from purchasing this new from the apple store, other than the absence of original packaging. I've used it for a couple of days - replacing a 2019 intel i9. This is a different world. While I was considering the m4, the price point on this brought it down to the offer i missed about 6 mo ago at Costco for the m3Pro 16". Same spec. Great deal. Very happy. I've purchased refurbished laptops before and have had some performance or cosmetic quirks as expected, but this - zero. Also excellent communication from seller.

As a Windows/Android guy, laptops have always been a sore spot. The choice of ugly, chunky, hot, low battery life gaming laptops, or ugly, plastic-y, corporate econo-notebooks has never been appealing. I bought a number of used laptops trying to find the sweet spot (Dell Latitudes and Precisions, Lenovo ThinkPads and IdeaPads, HP Pavilions, ASUS behemoth gaming laptops), but none of them felt right. I heard many news stories of the power and efficiency of Apple's new M chips, so I bought a cheap used M1 Macbook Pro and fell in love. A year later, I decided to go all in and purchase this 16" M3 Max with 48 GB of ram and a 1TB SSD. I'm confident that there is NOTHING it can't handle! I'm learning indie game dev, playing with 3d modeling, running basic local LLMs, and making dumb little songs in Logic Pro having an absolute blast! The battery life is nuts for how much raw power the system has! I will always stick with Windows desktops, Android phones, and Linux VMs to sharpen my tech skills, but Apple has something really special in these laptops. The screen is beautiful, the keyboard feels so tight, and the aluminum body is sturdy and luxurious. I have a feeling I'll get away with using this laptop for a full 5-7 years without even considering an upgrade.

Excellent seller. I ordered a reconditioned M3 in like new condition. I was worried what I would receive being the price was so good. I was excited to see this was a genuine Apple product. I am still able to get Apple warranty and the battery only had 1 cycle it. The laptop came in the original box with all the components still in their factory packaging.

After 10 months device is dead. Apple doesnt give support because device is AS-IS and nothing mentioned about it. Seller doesnt help too. Stay away from renewed device. End of the day you gonna loose 1.5K

The description said open box, but it was a regular used laptop(with some physical wear). A count of 134 battery cycles had already been ran when it landed on my hands. But it’s functional and the rest it’s ok.
