OX Tools 13 inch Aluminum Hawk for Plaster Sheetrock Morter Drywall Tools with Finger Protection for comfort, Quality tempered aluminum blade OX-T010513

It had been many years since the last time I did any drywall finishing and after watching many Youtube videos I decided to try using a Hawk instead of a tray. I found that using the Hawk was much more efficient and was less strain on the hands and arms. The stainles steel finish held up great to the many times being washed in water. I would wash the tool often each day every time I stopped to do something else or whenever it got too messy. The unit didn't have a speck of rust and looked like new after being dunked in water over 200 times. This is a high quality tool that saved me a lot time and effort and was worth every penny.

Good quality aluminium construction. At least 3mm thick. Good comfortable grip. Expected it to be a bit lighter in weight but manageable once you get the hang of it.

It's my first time using it to make brick repairs, It seems to work as it should, Handyman by trade, Waterproofing is my Profession, Chickasha Ok 🙏.

This feels like a very well built product. I used it to puddy a few walls I drywalled. Cleanup is pretty easy, been using it for about a month now and still looks new. I would recommend it to others.

I waited to review this product until I have used it. I used it to mud a room in my basement and I really liked it. it is comfortable to hold and use.

Comfortable hawk with perfect size. Arrived with one corner slightly bent but a hammer took care of that in a minute. I truly like it and after 30 years of hawk use and me taking the time to state that, you get it.

Lots of metal shaving from being machined and rivets sticking up higher then the surface of the hawk. Had to take a grinder to it before I used it so I didn’t get metal shaving in my mud and knicks in all my knives. Definitely would not buy this product again

Excellent product and makes life so much easier working with plaster. The edges were a little rough but after using my putty knife, all was good. It's worth buying.

There was a burr on three of the top edges of the product. I assume it was left over during the manufacturing process. Isn't customary to de burr after cutting operations? Other than this the item is ok.

Made the mistake of not reading the reviews prior to purchasing. The rivets are proud of the platform and they catch and damage your knives when you use it. Also bummed the logo and brand isn't etched into the bottom when you'd assume it would be like it is in the picture.
