This is my second radio I have purchased from Prunus and is a nice quality product.The design is reminiscent of table radios from the 1950s but of course is physically much smaller.The sound is reasonably loud and full for a radio of its size being similar to more expensive sets from well known suppliers though only let down as lacking a little bit of top end making it a little muffled sounding. The Bluetooth function works well and the FM radio is very sensitive and clear despite its tiny aerial. The built in rechargeable battery is a great feature.There are some minor downsides. The radio dial has a red marker on a black background set back from the front of the radio with no backlight. This makes the dial difficult to read in lower ambient light. The unit lacks a headphone or line-out socket which is a pity. The charging light stays on permanently when connected so it doesn't confirm once the battery is full which wasn't the case on the other model I have.

EXCELLENT SOUND. Easy to tune GREAT to listen , I bought this because of getting so many p POWER cuts ,it was easy to listen to all the songs, music or plays. Wouldn’t be without it now THANKS !

Super little radio packed with useful features.This radio has a lot going for it I saw the bass port on the back and was expecting good things. It didn't disappoint the sound is it's best feature, it's good for a small unit with a nice tone and good bass. It isn't super loud but fine for to fill a room with decent sound. The radio picks up channels well and I found with the charging cable in it was even better. The bluetooth works great and it's easy to pair to a phone. I tried a TF card and USB stick and both work with high bitrate mp3s but wont work with other formats such as FLAC. Also the card and stick have limited play features and will only play through the the tracks in order. The unit itself has a retro look that might not suit everyone but I quite like it. The rosewood wrap is ok and not impeccable as the joints are a little ropey but it's fine for this price point.DAB would be great to have but for this price of around £25 I think this radio is a very good buy.

A radio is a necessity in my opinion and sometimes all you want is to listen to the wireless. I mean properly: not on a device trying to stream a broadcast that is delayed by several minutes via a ropey internet signal and an app that asks you every 10 minutes if you are still listening or if you want to upgrade to premium.I have battery-powered radios, wind up radios and one that is built into a cool box but this is my first USB rechargeable wireless radio and it beats them all.The sound is loud and clear and the controls are simple old school. You can insert a micro-SD full of MP3s, but when there is no SD card in the slot the MP3 setting activates Bluetooth instead and you can choose, if you wish, to play a music app through the speaker. If you have two of these you can pair the Bluetooth for proper stereo. I don't, but I'd be excited to try it.
