I REALLY LIKE THIS BIKE STAND
I am a long-time bike rider and live in Phoenix, AZ. Here the summer weather is HOT. The outdoor temperatures here are high 80’s or into the 90’s before sunrise. I use the stand in the summers to avoid the heat.I hooked up a speedometer on my bike’s rear tire to read the mileage ridden on the bike stand. I have ridden about 110 miles on the stand in the past 2 weeks and the stand has performed well. The stand itself is heavy duty steel, well-finished, and attractive. Mounted on the stand, the bike is taller, so I use a short stool to get on and off the bike. The support for the front wheel is nice and keeps the bike level from front to back. I used the replacement quick release skewer that came with the stand because it fit the stand’s clamps best. The cable to the magnetic resistance unit is quite long. I coiled it and zip tied it, to compact it, and keep it away from the pedals. The resistance unit was easy to attach to the stand. The clamps that hold the bike keep it firmly in place once adjusted properly. The clamps are simple to adjust for your bike’s size. Do not overly tighten the adjustment that keeps the roller pressed against the bike’s rear tire or it will create more noise. My bike has Specialized Nimbus 2 Armadillo tires 700X32 that have smooth tread and do not cause annoying noise. The noise comes from the spinning of the magnetic resistance unit and roller that contacts the tire. By turning up the volume on the TV, it is still possible to use a TV when using the unit. One reviewer complained that the magnetic resistance unit was not effective. It works fine for me. I have it set for #3 on the handlebar unit and change the resistance by shifting my bike’s gears.

Fantastic construction—very sturdy!
Fantastic construction—very sturdy! I’m 230 pounds, and this trainer works like a charm. It feels solid and stable, even during intense riding sessions. The materials are high-quality, and it doesn’t wobble or shift while in use.Setup was quick and easy, and it’s a great way to keep riding indoors when the weather isn’t ideal. If you’re looking for a reliable and well-built bike trainer, this one delivers. Highly recommend!

No assembly instructions. Easy to figure out anyway though. Sturdy, works well. Light noise.
No assembly instructions but my husband put together pretty quickly. Works well. Sturdy, different settings work well. There's obviously a slight white-noise sound during use but nothing that loud that would wake up your family. I live in a one-story home and have it set up in our foyer which is cement base so keep that in mind in this review. I've used it for 3 months now at least a couple times a week and so far no complaints and holding up well!

Perfect for what I needed
We are taking a biking vacation in a few months for which I need to develop a bum callous. I did not want to purchase a trainer that cost more than my bike, this one seemed reasonably priced. This bike trainer was easy to set up, it took around 30 minutes, which included digging my bike out of the garage and airing up the tires. I have a hybrid. The bike fit well, the trainer is not too noisy. The resistance works well, but does not give a consistent enough resistance for me to stand up.

Works Great!
So far we are loving this Bike Stand! Was easy to assemble and my bike was easy to hook up to the stand. And away my husband and I have been biking! I don't know why people say it's loud bc it's not at all at least with my tires. I like that the stand is stable, safe, and provides good resistance with plenty of room to make the workout more challenging. So far we love this stand! For the price, this stand is really worth it!

Handlebar shifter is mediochre.
First confusing thing if you don't have a quick detach wheel, throw the quick release axle in the trash. First confusing thing, gone. Next, tried putting the handlebar selector on the handlebars. TIGHTLY. Tried tightening one half turn at a time so I could try tightening cam lobe on front side or other side. No amount of wiggling, twisting, torqueing would Latch it on correctly. I finally found a compromise of sorts and zip tied it on the rest of the way. Instead of trying to make something hi tech, cheaply, they should have given you a couple of different size shims and Just used a Bolt and Nut setup. IT would never stay on out on the road even for a second, but that is not what itis made for. Solidly holds the bike still and gives a very firm feel. Just like a stationary bike does. I leave the shifter in 6th gear and change the gears on my bike so that I dont have to fuss with the bike trainer shifter barely clamped on my bike. Hope the rest of It is more solidly built to last as I bought this with affirm financial. PPPPPPPP......SSSSSSS....... CAN anyone tell me how tight to tighten the resistor. I couldnt fine a place to ask a question on the ad. I have a nice smooth spot in the center of my tire tread. I slowly turn the wheel and tighten the resistor. I have a spot turning the tire where it doesnt touch like the rest of tire, slightly egg shaped. I lightly tighten till it touches there so I have contact all the way around. I'M getting rubber residue all over the floor and my bedding as its the only place I can ride in my trailer. MORE tight or MORE loose? Tire wont last long like this. Should I wear a mask, yuk, to not breath rubber particles? IF it wasnt 110 degrees out, I would be outside and not have this worry.NEW UPDATE! Bike and Stand ARE working 😁💪 great! Hasn't hurt the tire 🛞. I've applied more pressure because of the tire not being perfectly round. Grips MORE of the tire tread and hasn't hurt the tire at all. AND I've lost 6 pounds! Would gladly buy again!Happy Thanksgiving! November 22nd Update; Bike and stand both doing great! No tire wear with tightening the resistor firmly enough that it contacts the tire all the way around as my tire isn't perfectly round. I've lost 10 pounds riding this bike and set up! Ready for the holidays!

solid and easy to instal but…
very noisy. if you live in an appartement you will need to isolate the floor. My stand is at first floor of a house and the noise is very significant despite putting a special tyre and a yoga mast below.
